Unleaded Fuel which one and is expensive worth it!!
joelfigueira replied to Whites's topic in Lexus CT 200h Club
Hi all, so now we have E10 fuel coming to our forecourts in September will we see more people turn to the premium fuel as from what I have read about E10 we could lose out on MPG because there is more ethanol. (I could be wrong) -
Selling hybrids due to cat-theft risk?
joelfigueira replied to MadJam250's topic in Lexus General Discussions
as @Storm Chaser has mention, I also have to say since having mine fitted and having the stickers in my window I do feel better. -
When I got mine in June they had it priced at £250 and that was all including fitting which I have to say is really good as you do see some cars with wires all over and the place, plus I would not trust Halfords. Connecting to the app with my iPhone is fine however the app itself could be so much better.

Hi, if you are viewing on a phone they dont show but on a laptop they do which is odd. here are the pics again, first was a chip, the others were long scratches running along the bumper

Hi all, They have done a really good job and I am happy with the work and its guaranteed for life so any issues I just call them back out with the job ref. Also they mentioned they only work on new and nearly Lexus and Toyota so always carry all the paints so never have any issues with colour matches Here are some photos let me know what you think?

As i type this the repair is being made to the car so here is the scratch (pic 1) and paint chip (pic 2) from when i took the picture for the claim. Once work has been completed I will post

I got my CT fitted with one before I picked it up from Lexus and it’s been brilliant from the installation to the app and recording quality

Removing number plate holder and moving the location
joelfigueira replied to joelfigueira's topic in Lexus CT 200h Club
I took of the surround and it leaves two screw holes and even though you can’t really see them it doesn’t look great. I see a fair few cars with a smaller plates like Audi etc to show the grill more. in the US they use the toe hook part to move the plate over but they have smaller plates. -
Loving the CT that sets the carbon offset

Hi John, Thanks for the link i was looking for more Lexus / Toyota specialists and not really found anything up North since my old indi closed who was the head mechanic at Toyota for 20 plus years so i was always comfortable with him carrying work out. Have tried a couple of others when trying to sort out my issue with the dreaded IS220D injector problem but they were not really good IMO as they worked on all sorts of cars. I will give the team valley a look and see what they are like. thanks again.

Hi John, Do you know anyone like the above that is in the north east? for my IS220D i used an independent but since COVID he has had to close and i have since changed to a CT and was wondering is it worth going to Lexus for the warranty extension or go to a indi like what you have posted. Regards Joel

Hi all, Has anyone removed the number plate holder from the front number plate and moved the number plate location? just looking at how the US have there cars with the full grill on show and i think it does look nice and gives it a clean look. Thinking about getting a smaller front plate and moving it to the left side of the bumper but it may cover one of the parking sensors or just running a smaller plate on the front. regards Joel

It was just easier to get mine done by Lexus since i was purchasing the car from them so all part of the prep when picking it up. Was thinking if i was to change the car would it be worth removing it from the current car and move to the new one, however i assume camera tech will have moved on so maybe pointless.

Price must depend on the garage as I was charged £250 from Lexus Sidcup.

I have paid for the 3 years so I may as well use them and if it’s not great will call them up to get it sorted. Still waiting for the claim to be approved

Hi Paul, thanks for the feedback much appreciated, I have submitted a claim so now waiting for them to get back to me. Yes that’s my colour sonic titanium really love the colour so I hope they get a good match. I hope the claim is successful and they do a good job. I tried the blue prothrombin option but my iPhone was not appearing in the list, will give it another go at the weekend and see if it appears and pairs. regards joel

Hi all, does anyone know why in Japan the CT200h has flappy paddles like the is300h? Have seen some on my Instagram as I follow a few Japan ct200h accounts as I’m interested to know why we didn’t get them in Europe. regards Joel

Hi all, has anyone taken out paint protection out from Lexus and if so used the service? Had someone scratched my back bumper leaving a deep scratch that I’m not able to machine polish out and drove off while it was parked in a super market car park. just want to know what the quality of work is like. regards Joel
