  1. thats what i want to find out, i think it has some adhesive to stick to the stick. the button is too lose, it does not grip tight enough when fastened.
  2. I got a mechanic to pop night breakers into mine. On a side note why has my car 2 main beam bulbs? the bi-xenon have main/low beam purpose, why the need for an additional main beam? if they are standard xenon then you need 2 bulbs, 1 HID for low beam and 1 halogen for high beam. unless I am wrong.
  3. I cant answer that but you would imagine the suspension is different, i should hope so. for instance the Subary Legacy 3.0R has bilstein struts i think, rather than run of the mill suspension.
  4. Guys, The gear gaiter, how is the top part next to the button held to the stick? Is it adhesive tape on the inside or something? cheers.
  5. I can see a notch on your unit where the front panel is removed to access the disc, You have a new model, surprised if it has a disc. However if there is a disc you would have an eject button on the menu somewhere it details the map info. the disc should pop out (take off the front panel with the little screw driver things first!).
  6. looks like i only need to worry about the MOT next month Many Thanks for your email. I have checked your vehicle for any outstanding recalls, and I am pleased to inform you that your vehicle does not require the Fuel Pressure sensor recall. If I can be of any further information please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind Regards
  7. I am going to call lexus, not sure if they even have my details or if VOSA do, my private plate hides the original one.

  9. mine is a 08, i put my reg number into the lexus recall site and got the A,OK. does this only apply to some models?
  10. thats all well said but at the end of the day a car is only as good as its service history and how it was maintained. once it has had regular service the is250 is probably as a reliable petrol car you can get.
  11. just wait till u get the parts from the USA, get to work by alternative means, like Charley http://natgeotv.com/uk/by-any-means
  12. Dont know why anyone would put on crap tyres, if you cant afford a decent tyre buy a bike., if someone cant afford a decent tyre how on earth can they service and maintain it.
  13. 2 x pirelli on the back, 2 michelen on the front, they are not nanyak deluxe from china. :P I have not thought about the plate tbh., its not a 10 year old car btw.
  14. why did the OP not attempt a repair, I find it odd. It must have been pretty bad for him to disown it.
  15. why did the OP not fix the car? to say it was wrote off it must have been destroyed, we are not talking a skoda fabia here. How did it end up back on the road, I thought you cannot get a write off back legally on the road?
  16. SR = low spec SE-L = Top Spec Sport = Alcantara. seats?, HIDs but missing a few bits that are on the SE-L Would avoid the SR, and would look for the Mark Levinson unit (14 speakers, 300Watts)
  17. the tyres are fine, they are not even a year old. 2 X Goodyears in front.
  18. brutal! probably cost you over £6k++ to get right, if at all
  19. back from the body shop, i got them to put car lack on, does a very good job as a sealant
  20. aye, he is a top bloke, I have a po40 and its working fine. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
