    mine is always on, I was just wondering if it could be turned off. I guess you mean that A/C touch button on the bottom left of the screen to disengage it.

    Guys, Had the car in for a MOT, a few advisories on the engine and underbody cover shields and also the heatshield clamp loose, where is this clamp located? it said near side on the advisory. Some people just take these off but I am sure if they were not required they would not be put on in the first place.

    does manual control mean the compressor is off? i mean that a/c is not engaged and its old school?

    not exclusive to Lexus, any main dealer has high prices. No point taking a car that is old to a main dealer, 4 years is probably border line as its still quite new. Dealers are meant to stand loyal to warranties even if taken to a non main dealers and serviced with reputable parts.

    The LS400 is very old now in fairness, trying to get a pristine example would be finding a needle in a haystack.

    In getting a lux car like a LS400 I would be weary of getting one too cheap, I know full well the cost of getting it back in as good a condition as you expect, and I know Lexus owners are OCD on having almost everything right.

    I didnt know that, let me give this another go. ! It wont take long as all my main wiring is in place.

    I can rotate this also 180 degrees, i did not put it at the other side as the sensor in located on that side of the mirror.

    I paid a deposit over the phone for this, in haste i would add, and took for my first viewing after work a week back when it was ****** and dark. Sometimes you need to use gut instinct, I was looking for one of these for my mam for a bit and this looked a peach. I just got the seller to MOT it, and passed with no advisories.

    let me get this right, you got a ls400 shipped to England for 1,500euro all in, and your complaining about dents etc? sorry if i am a bit mistaken but i think its not a bad deal, for a car that era you dont expect a brand new lexus?

    you cant compare a is250 to a ls460 ffs, I have a lovely is250 but a 460 is,...different league

    this is my 0806 cam, all the wiring is hidden into the roof lining, quality very good.

    bulbs on. hard enough for passenger, drivers side easy since OEM filter removed.
