  1. mine is just about 1k when i start up and settles to circa 700... ish once warm, A/C is on pretty all the time for me
  2. finally! got em in! they look and ride great! minus the AFS blinking light afterwards (will get it reset/readjusted next week since im due for an oil change anyways) Read more: http://www.clublexus.com/forums/suspension-and-brakes/321764-eibach-pro-kit-installed-on-my-2007-is250.html#ixzz3XK3WwTac will these screw up the AFS/HID self level feature?

  4. I came across this First of all, Eibach makes the lower springs for Lexus and Lexus calls it F Sport. Second of all, there are 2 Eibach Pro Kit for the IS: Eibach Pro Kit for IS350 part# 8287.140: Front - 1" / Rear - .8" such as this on Ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/EIBACH-PRO-K...75a76c&vxp=mtr Eibach Pro Kit for IS250 part # 8288.140: Front - 1.4'' / Rear - .8'' I am wondering if i would be better off with coils if i do decide to get a drop.
  5. Dont need a video as my typhoon intake is pretty prominent itself.
  6. exactly what I am doing, I got dark metallic gunmetal paint for my alloys and silver high temp paint for calipers. probably lowering springs next.
  7. Guys Anyone fitted springs to their 250? a bit worried about the comfort being ruined, but it does look good....! I am going to keep my stock OEM alloys and get them powder coated, black/graphite.
  8. nah, think 17" are fine, besides plenty of rubber on mine dont want to buy 4 tyres.
  9. Think they look too tacky, I might just get my own done in a graphite finish. Lexus wheels are hard to come by, OEM style
  10. I like these, any opinions? 17" ATS PräzisionSatin Black with Double Polished Rim
  11. have my 250 about a year and its probably the best car i have had to date (been driving since the early 90s and been thru a few). Reliability issues so far, a water pump just, which is due at the 50k ish miles region.
  12. Guys, Think i will get new wheels, any recommendations? also, what is the going rate for Lexus 17" rims, I have a very slight mark on 1 wheel but the rest are perfect. I am thinking at least £350 for the 4 with the centre caps? http://www.lkperformance.co.uk/alloys-by-car/lexus/is250/2006-all-models?wheel_size=17
  13. dont know why ye guys put up with the 220 tbh. all the hard ship would drive me insane. The difference in economy between a 220d and a 250 petrol is not all that much and no mucking about with lights and particle filters.
  14. you wont be able to put on all the SE-L bits, rear blind, memory seats, rain sensors, AFS and HID lights. etc Better to buy a SE-L and get styling kit.
  15. Don't really see the point, it will end up a MOT fail without self levelling sensors and washer jets. HIDs are meant to have washers on the headlights for a reason. A good quality bulb such as OSRAM night breaker would be adequate imo.
  16. who do people buy 220Ds when they could have an is250 unbelievable jeff
  17. I got the f sport pedals, the only issue was the foot rest was for LHD cars. I put it over my RHD one, not perfect but ..
  18. the rear view mirror has a sensor at the shaded side, i put my camera at the other side. I cant see it anyway so it doesn't trouble me, its hidden from view.
  19. just change the 2 o2 sensors, the car is 2006 and probably on the OEM ones. It will get worse if you don't replace them.
  20. none of the aforementioned problems arising, a nice clean supply of air to the engine and an even nicer v6 gurgle after 4k rpm
  21. everyone with a petrol should chuck out that useless OEM air filter and put in one of these. simples
