    I never seen a Lexus towing anything, looks weird for some reason, its not a car you associate with towing is it? I always look away if I see a hitch also on a used car.

    They are Tips from a Honda S2K, think the OEM ones are too small.¬) I agree with what C said, well kept 250s in SE-L trim will cost a good bit more than the OPs budget. Mine is a 08 model and I would not sell anywhere near 6k.

    this is after a coat of conditioning balm i got for a fiver. quite impressed,you need gloves on as its a pigment that fills up all them marks.

    Mine is a manual, there is nothing particularly wrong with a manual aside from the tax. Its also a bit faster than the auto. It does take a while to get used to it, but I have had my car about a year and its plain sailing for me now. Here are pics of mine after a clean and conditioning of the seats.

    I am Irish so I know all about tax in the emerald Isle, its why people have moved to tractors in the hundreds of thousands in the last 10 years for cheap tax. (low C02 apparently!) Tax on a 250 is crazy let alone a 5 litre ISF. My ex worked in Singapore, you can't own a car there unless you are uber rich, forget about any new ish Lexus of any kind unless you have money to blow, loads of money.

    dont fit an aftermarket sunroof for ***** sakes. its better to sell your car and buy one with a sunroof if you really want it.

    its just the motion sensor in the car, once the red led on the head unit is solid red that sensor is live and activated.

    There is a stupid old cat moping around my parking area, and caught him on my bonnet a while ago. No doubt nice and warm. This cat seems harmless and old but dont want him moping around my car. I read citric acid is a good deterrent, if i put some of this over my parking bay boundary would it be any use? really fed up of this !

    the petrol 250 is far more reliable than the diesel, its more refined and generally a better place to be. Just sit the 2 next to each other and listen to the noise. For your budget you will probably get a high miler on either model so a thorough service record should be your top priority.

    I am in the same boat, I would definitely consider a 350 if i could get one, As it stands I think I will take the plunge next year and buy a F, I have heard nothing but good stuff about them.

    I would have got a 350 if i could, I looked into getting one from Japan but on hindsight I would be better off spending more and getting a ISF, albeit quite a bit more but still.

    guys, quick question does the side mirrors on the SE-Ls dim with the rear view mirror? I am not sure mine dims but the rear view does as I see the green tint. Maybe I am not paying enough attention, just want to check with you guys as you both have SEL models. re - tax, i am paying almost that on my 250 as its a manual. *actually, i am sure the F is near the top band @ £500 or so a year.

    I still want a F, my points not a problem for me, they are gone soon. I had a bad spell a few years back. without going into details :p I am looking into a F most definately.
