  1. probably near to 9k if its really good se-l best way to lower price is say whats the best price for a straight cash deal.
  2. Im sure we would have found out that long ago tbh, the is gen 2 is around a bit. The ECU cant be remapped either so it looks pretty robust to me.
  3. Thats why I didn't put an F SPORT exhaust import from the USA on, I got a typhoon CAI instead and that gives me a nice v6 rumble over 4k ish revs but other than that its fine.
  4. Haha yes that's the full story, and not sure of the company name who did it but I've got the number. He brought a key out 1st but was the wrong key ant then brought 1 back few days later and it works no problem Will post number if youse think it could be useful how is even possible to bring a random key to a is250 and get it working? plus not knowing the name of the place.
  5. Yes they are all 5 litres. I am looking into getting one but would like a 10 reg. I am going to check the situation with them in 2016. Running costs will be worse than a is250 but not totally bonkers for a 5 litre from what I have read. The reliability is a big selling point to me. The major costs seem to be tyres and brakes.
  6. I'd say the isf is not that rare. Thousands have been made, it's just that in the UK it's very rare indeed .
  7. confused.com £40 extra to insure a ISF over a is250. * scratches head.
  8. at the end of the day its a 2008 reg, I am interested in a F but would like a 10reg facelift, I am going to see how the prices are in 2016 as I am in absolutely no rush.
  9. seems incredibly cheap, not sure if we are told the full story.
  10. I had my front glass replaced by autoglass last year, how do I know if these mysterious clips and in place?! bit late i know......!
  11. any drama on this? with no key at all I think we are fearing the worst here, if you did get it done for 200 quid we want to know more.!
  12. have you spoken to this idiots parents as to why he was driving with zero insurance?
  13. what happens if this guy has no insurance, how would your insurance proceed with it?
  14. weird, that is awful from Lexus. As pointed out you should have- a) went through insurance and went to an authorised Lexus dealer to get it fixed. I have been to hedge end and its fantastic and the attention i have received for merely ordering some parts is second to none. They would give you a proper hire car and not a stupid run about. As for the pop up bonnet, I was not aware of the costs, I think insurance should subsidise repairs in this, after all its a safety mechanism, I don't see why the owner should foot a heftY bill for having this feature on a car in the first place.
  15. 200 quid.. sounds too good to be true. Keep us posted
  16. wouldn't be surprised tbh. any update on this, Im glad I have 2 keys.
  17. That's mega miles, I would expect a car with that many miles to cost several thousand cheaper than one on lower miles.
  18. there should be no need to use a polisher on a new car surely. I have a DAS and it is indeed a fine polisher when called upon.
