    don't buy a 220d ffs, the place is littered with people posting up issues. Sounds dreadful but many 220d owners wished they had a petrol. Dont be fooled by the Price and badge, the engine is a lump from toyota and its not a good car at all.

    I have read some less than glowing reviews on them re: braking i think it was. I would be put off by the lack of garages that service them.

    I got this fixed, eventually. before after cost was a mere £60, plus the scuff decal (£12 from Lexus). Only bad thing was the interior and exterior was ruined from body shop dust, but I can live with that. I didn't pay for a valet.

    erm, dash cam pcb. I would not put a PCB into that area, Have you heard of EMI interference.

    smart repair outfits probably will do it for less than you imagine.... I would rather take it to them than spend money on stuff and not be guaranteed as good a result as a pro can do.

    now i need to wash the car as the mirrors are ruined with oil, and inside ruined from body shop....!

    surprisingly easy to do, i oiled the motor up while at it. Wont bother putting on new cogs.
