    I had mine for nearly 2 yrs it's got 88k on clock no issues apart from dpf blocking it's that we do all local mileage like school runs but as u will b doing motor way mileage it will perfect car for u its brilliant to drive good luck

    U have to remove dpf but recently had my dpf cleaned from car surgeon in Birmingham and asked same question was advised not to have it done as lights will b back r u getting any problems with ur dpf????

    Had car picked up at 1.30 by imran and dropped by 5 from car surgeon quick service been advised to take car on motorway at least once a week it has put dent in my pocket as going turkey on sat but needed it done as going to park car in Heathrow for 5 days and this is my last diesel car will b going for is250 or bmw 320 m sport

    Thanks guy for all info if it wasn't for this site and found out about car surgeon it would b costing me lot more don't think there is anyone in London

    Had code read this morning and P2002 dpf rang car surgeon quoted me 439 Inc pick up from London @ drop back going either tomorrow or Monday,imran knew his stuff big expense but got to done it drives for 7 miles and goes into limp mode could save 130 by taking it myself but will have to stop every 7 miles that will take for ever,driver gonna drive it but will bypass ecu and will drive normal

    Just driving back from Oxford today on m25 just before m11 jnct check vsc engine management light@ anti skid light came on went into limp mode managed to drive home on m11 at 40-50 mph. dpf is blocked or something else last time it happened after 30 mins it was ok

    Well to b honest to get good mpg u got to drive like.a granddad lol I'm getting 25-26 urban @ nearly. 40 mpg on motorway will b changing to is250 soon maybe in Sept as won't b doing many miles diesel r only good if u doing lots of mileage otherwise u get dpf getting blocked @ quite expensive to sort it out @ Rob get yourself is250 se-l it's got more toys

    Hi Rob mines got 87k on clock @ sounds just like normal diesel engine mines not. Noisy like ur describing mine quite. Something is not quite right with ur car did it have any service history to check mileage?????? Mines on 2006 se-l. Take it back @ have it checked hope this helps

    Yesterday saw a very peculiar private plate on a lexus sc C3ANTS is this what I think it spells or am I wrong any ideas 😁 thanks

    Best thing is replace complete place on ebay in Birmingham I paid £350 x2 complete with runners, pins no problem lexus wanted 600+ for complete so it all it cost me £400 fitted thought was a bargain.they r brand new not recon.lexus sell pins separate for price I paid for complete caliper

    If u use shell v power should get higher mpg @ ask if egr has been cleaned if it hasn't clean it it will make difference to ur pick up @ mpg

    U mean low @ revs go up when car is cold @ use heaters once it gets warm should drop to 800

    Generally in cold weather mpg droppes mine doing it aswell I'm getting 23-24 mpg motorway 35 mpg

    Can u b sure they cleaned it????? For ur peace of mind clean it I done mine about 1 yr ago when I bought it,it's quite easy to do u can do it when weather gets better in mean time use v power from shell if it's not bad then it Will clear it if u still find its causing issure then clean it u can use carb cleaner or egr cleaner if I still got car in summer will clean it again

    I got is220d. Se-l 2006 go for petrol make sure it's got 2 keys as cost 300 if u gonna do loads of motorway then go for diesal other wise petrol is much better I will change mine in next few months to is250 gears on is220d is notchy that's y they stopped doing a manual mines got nearly 86000 if don't drive for 3 days feels sluggish only noticed it when it went in for body repair for 3 days @ felt had no power put v power diesel @ ran it on motorway. @ it's fine se- l has more toys

    My wife scraped car make it worse some scum put big dent near petrol tank in rear quarter panel Cost me £175 to get it sorted. People have no respect for others property and I totally agree

    U could have damaged rod in it u tube video tells u to b careful when cleaning it can u hear pump when u press start/stop button it's a mystery.did u call aa/rac did u check electrical connection wire hasn't got cut. Or could trying bleeding fuel filter using button inside car good luck keep us posted of the problem

    What did u use to clean valve was it carb cleaner u could have damaged egr using a screw driver too hard,before u put egr back did u check rod was moving freely @ did u connect electrical connection back on best thing is recheck everything seems like fuel is not going through sometimes u miss out small things I dropped small fuel pipe underneath to this day havnt found it best of luck @ do keep us posted
