Woh serious miles for is250 sport on ebay with 230k on 55 reg for £2000 1 owner, full history.it says motorway miles. Check it out got no pictures though

Manual is 400 tax auto 290. I picked my car from lexus Plymouth and drove to essex, which was 260 miles was averaging 40 mpg which I thought was good for v6 as was getting same in my is220d on long run.

Hi con welcome to loc, I had is220d se-l 2006 for 2yrs, not bad car to drive but bit sluggish, if u gonna do just local miles then aviod is220d, my dpf got blocked twice due to local driving, it's only good if ur gonna do high miles.i got is250 now better car to drive, smooth, good smooth gearbox. Mpg is almost same as my is220d, all depends on ur driving habits. With such high mileage probably gonna get hg,egr,dpf etc etc problems, is250 even with high mileage never heard anyone with problems as long it's been looked after properly.i sold my is220d se-l with 93k on clock,didn't have any major problem as mentioned that y I sold it as didn't want to find out. Hi hoodrich u won't b disappointed in is250, I came from is220d, which wasn't bad car but nothing compared to is250. Absolutely luv it. Happy motoring

Ur absolutely right it only happens when there is an emergency in tunnel as I use tunnel on a regular basis, I get that 2 in my taxi radio,every time I go through it says alarm, always been accident or break down.u can turn it off by pressing any button. i think it's police signal telling u to slow down.hope this clears it up

After driving is250, no diesels for me anymore, don't know what been missing, even wife luvs it now. Diesel are not bad cars but only good if ur gonna do huge miles @ motorway miles. Old diesel cars were much better as didn't have dpf, Iav had 3 mercs which were diesel and were great,as used to do 30k per yr,had no problems with them,new diesels will give a miss as sort of private miles I do now it's not worth it, apart from my London taxi tx1 Nissan 2.7 which is a work horse and it's done 400k still going strong.

Don't have to go to lexus, in my is220d got mine done from wheel alignment place using 4 wheel alignment computer, they do charge 35 for front, 35 for rear, I paid 60 because got it done together as my rear was out.just find place that uses 4 alignment computer

I went for Goodyear 225 45 17 91w instead from f1 autocentre fitted £140.00, Dunlop were same price.

He did mention got too many cars, no use for it, just mot 25Feb when already had mot till April. Deal must b done before got new mot at 75k

Yeh must have spent money as alloys were £500,with brand new tyres all 4.. 19" Tyres aren't cheap either, was cheap, rear lights were from later model,wing mirrors also from later model,well he was prepared to accept £4000. He said ppl coming from London to view it.might see it in London soon or on loc.

That did cross my mind heater controls in glove compartment, how u use it if ur on ur own.that exhaust being on right hand was only a pipe, exhaust is still on right hand,he said something about getting 2 exhaust but left it. It's only lexus with 10" tablet, he did say it's got Internet too. Could b wrapped.

Did call today as someone else was interested in buying, did ask about heater controls, he told me there are in glove compartment, had loads of mods done to it. It's been sold today.

Main dealers always overpriced, just got to haggle, mine was on 11500,got them down to 10400,u do get benefit of 1 yr warranty, hpi checked etc etc.as far this cars are concerned u got to haggle with them.

It's bit of travelling involved but lexus Coventry got 2 within ur budget is250 se-l,2008,40k on clock argenta ice, its on for 10k but I'm sure if u haggle might get it down.its worth a shot offering over the phone. It's top spec model.u can get reg number on thier website and do mot history check but it's main lexus dealer,so shouldn't b any problems plus u get lexus warranty for 1 yr too.another thing is u have 30 days to return car if ur not happy.best of luck haggleing .

I live in essex, I bought 2 mercs from Glasgow, 1 merc from Cornwall, last lexus is220d was from Preston, this one from Plymouth.if price is right then I go anywhere to buy a car..i try to do deal over phone first then see if it's worth travelling.this is250 got £1100.00 off.

Think I found car, is it Yg55pvs, too much advisories,need all brakes for sure I say offers around £4000.mot only until March 2016.i personally would use advisories for haggleing. Rather then travelling there make offer over phone and point out all advisories. According to autotrader valuation it's worth private just over 5k, dealer 6k but it need lot of work. Sometimes u got to travel to get a decent car as I travelled from Essex to Plymouth but I got from lexus main dealer. Make sure it's got 2 keys, otherwise it will cost u 300, u can use this as haggleing point, use auto trader valuation site then u will have a rough idea of value of car.is it possible u can put link on here of the car. But it's v low mileage for 2005.i got 2009 with 40k on clock.if it's 2005 it probably is se-l. But sometimes se got extra like se-l

I ordered Goodyear 225 45 17 91w plus had choice free alignment (which already had done and it's ok) or winter check, went for free winter check at f1 autocentre in Dagenham. Paid 140.70 pair.

Well just curious on how he control heating and climate control. Just that can't see any heating controls on front.

I was thinking same thing, no heating controls unless through tablet.looks like twin exhaust system as it's on left, is220d on right side.

On shpock there is is220d sport 2007, does this belong to a loc member from Glasgow, with 10" tablet instead of sat nav, check it out,been modified, looks like facelift model. Pic attached.he some money on it.

What is mileage???? When was last time fuel filter was changed???? Fuel filter is a pain to change as most garage won't even change because they don't know how to change it.
