    Nothing to dislike about is250, it's quite, comfortable, got all toys, as speed is concerned use sports mode and got paddle shift but average speed in London 20-30 mph anyway. It's better refined car, get more toys then bmw,audi mercs. It's v6 mpg not bad on motorway. Best car ever driven I did come from is220d so this lot quieter

    Didn't know tyres had sell by date, u don't really eat tyres????  if they are new not used.i know u can get remoulds which are not even worth using. Probably gonna use lexus or kW

    Ordered jrbc01 nfc Bluetooth and music player from Hong Kong for 8.88 + free p@ p, havnt received it yet. Saw on utube looks good easy to use too, just plug using ur aux on ur system, I'm actually gonna use it in my taxi. Play music using ur phone through ur stereo speakers. once receive it will update

    Thanks you guys are right but did think of that possibility of getting lemons will probably get from kW or lexus or well known retailers on other hand well known retailers got more running expenses that why prices are high.

    Still cheap used to have e320cdi on 2002 xenon bulb was 100.only replaced it once in 6yrs of owning car.

    Thanks black circle (£109 each) are more expensive then kW looking at goodyear efficient grip.best one found on eBay for 170 for 2 another 20 for 2 for fitting.

    Guys are right 70 in 6th won't work. For regeneration process to work got to drive in 4th gear for about 20-30 mins, add wynes additive too. I done it on my is220d and did work good luck

    Could try cleaning egr valve and getting dpf cleaned professionally, seem to blocked badly, additive is not permanent solution, I done that on mine eventually had to have in cleaned professionally by car surgeon in Birmingham. Hope this helps

    I can get them changed cheaper, Steve2006 ur right that only thing that I am worried about if thing go wrong I can contact kW lot easier then ebay. Front were changed recently from f1 autocentre but don't seem to list rear ones.

    Soon will need to change rear tyres as 1 is budget which is v noisy, 1 is Dunlop still legal but got small cracks on side. Seen goodyear on eBay for £170 +12.99 postage, even if I get them privately fitted still cheaper as kwikfit r cheapest at 109 each fitted.tried various sites but ebay still work out cheaper

    If u got meter check voltage on battery and alternator after been standing overnight, if alternator is failing then wouldn't charge battery to max voltage. Normally if alternator is faulty battery light start to flick.good luck

    Hi nice looking car mate is250 auto only for me but everyone is different. It's more likely dmf which was common for is220d i had 1 for 2yrs and it done same thing for 2 yrs judder in first gear. Just have to live with it or change flywheel and clutch together.

    On mine lights are rubbish not bright enough if I change to 5000k bulbs would that make any difference @ what best 5000k to use. Its 2009 model. madasahatter which one u used can u send link thanks. my is220d had xenons were really good and bright

    I wouldn't change glass just for scratches unless u smash it. But have to check ur policy as sometimes side glass not covered with excess payable only windscreens. I learnet to live with it now only noticeable if u look closely. Mine are more then ur scratches.

    I got similar scratches on my passengers side but r very faint, only noticed it 1 month ago after hand-wash, only shows in really sunny weather, tried taking pictures but won't show up. I think must had dirt on Windows, when put up @ down scratched it.if u run ur nails it's deep. probably had it when purchased car but didn't notice it. My scratches are same as urs.

    I used tempcover.com everytime want to drive other cars. Found its cheapest for temporary cover used it few times now

    Have u tried in different location sometimes it's electrical interference as it's a smart key. It happened to my is220d happened few times, once on is250. But mine didn't open at all,had to open manually using key but alarm went off, u touch fob on start/stop button then it started , alarm also stopped

    On my is220d mechanic did try to free pins but couldn't as were too seized, that when changed calipers.thought about getting new pins but we're working out quite expensive, front ones must b more expensive than rear plus calipers were quite bad, didn't really have brakes.plus it was 1st time in 25yrs had siezed calipers on car like lexus. My black cab tx1 got 400k on clock no siezed calipers. Lexus design is rubbish

    U better of changing complete calipers , on my is220d front calipers were seized pins were quite expensive, if I'm not mistaken only dealer part, so complete calipers cost me 350 for pair from ebay brand new.not sure how much pins r for rear.check price for pins,then price for complete on eBay

    I would agree with wisty, when I started to use it not very easy to program but once u know how to use it its not that difficult. I thought it was pretty good.first time used it to go dewsbury then Manchester ok try to take me through taxi /buses only but wasn't updated, wasn't bad speaks to u too when junction coming up,shows lanes,service stations, it's great. I only used it once but tomtom is more easy to program but it's exactly same even better with bigger screen. I prefer my car sat Nav.

    When had my is220d 2006 cleaned egr myself @ 80k made such difference. My dpf got blocked due to local miles had it cleaned ur dpf won't block as u do motorway miles. Sold it bought is250 2009.
