I ask again. Can the ecu be mapped to improve consumption and raise output ?
-
I am just telling you what my company do. If the car has a dmf Nd you only buy the clutch , they do not give warranty through our business due to the simple fact that 9/10 chance that the clutch burning out has damaged the dmf. This is well known I believe?
I would be interested know whether mine has a Dmf or not seeing as we do not list a single mass for the car

can you remap the ECU to be more economic

they are not cheap bits but if the clutch has gone, i would replace the DMF too. i work for a parts factor and the clutch is usually supplied with 12 month warranty, unless you dont buy the dmf, in which case you will find you dont get any warranty on it

Lexus IS200 2.0L manual. 2001
I work for euro car parts, we list the oil as either 5W30 FS or 15W40 Mineral?
the 15W40 is the first choice for the vehicle in our oil guides but i am unsure what i would use to get the best performance from the car. i dont use it alot but i intend on owning this car for a long time so want it to last.
its only on 55k miles
