it wont throw up any errors using the leds ,i think the canbus system monitors the systems that are required and not a supplementary lighting circuit for convienience that has no importance as such

what i dont understand is the CT is £50 less ,the IS cannot take £50 more in oil, the same items will be checked and will take the same amount of time to complete so why should it cost so much more. answers on a postcard

must be the lexus way of doing things,maybe they are just airing on the side of caution in case a child is sitting in the front in a car seat all bases are then covered.

no they are not what you want as the bulb holder goes into the light unit from the side i.e. parallel to the ground so using the led mentioned above the light will shine in the wrong direction use an led that emits light on all sides and that will work just fine

it is clear as any seat other than the drivers seat is a passenger seat so the pressing of this button will disable all 3 windows. just as a matter of interest what car have you come from .

congratulations paul i also moved from a ct a while ago although i wouldn't go back to a ct there are features that i missed like the sun glasses holder in the roof ,the park button and a rear wiper. the phonebook is better as you can transfer your entire phonebook in 1 go and not just 6 entries one at a time. just make sure your contacts are stored on the phone otherwise they wont transfer to the car dialing is different to the ct press the talk button then say "call + the contact name" i.e. call paul find the persons name in the list and say the number next to the name i.e. 1st, 2nd, 3rd then on the next display say "dial" call is made

i would say 2 hrs as the other items dont take long ,whilst they're dropping the oil the brakes can be looked at so 2 jobs car be done together.

buying into the lexus brand unfortunately ties you into more expensive servicing charges it shouldn't come as a surprise.

I mostly use cold water to defrost my windscreen/windows, but will bear this in mind.Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk i am with tracy on this one about using cold water to defrost your car,its the safest way to defrost remember cold water is still warmer than ice so it will do the job well just have your wipers going at the fastest setting to remove as much water as possible.

if the colour is rubbing off i would say there is reason for concern,as there will come a point where you will get to the hide and have no colour left , go see you dealer and maybe take a ruined garment to show the issue you are facing ,once they have agreed its under warranty put a claim in for your ruined clothes.

i know i have said it a few times ,get yourself the carista app for your phone / tablet become a beta tester and get the software free or make the in app purchase to open up the the cutomizations and an elm 327 adapter (£5'ish) either bluetooth or wifi and you can change the settings yourself without going to lexus.

those sticky pads around the holes are to seal the screws,put some silicon around the holes,locate your plate and fix to car, when i had a mercedes i had water in the boot wheel well,mercedes found the water had been spiraling around the screw threads of the number plate screws and then dripped into the boot giving me a pool of water. the leak was a right bugger to find,it was only when the pressure washer came into force did they find it.

there is no point in buying tyres that have a low rating for fuel economy i.e.above a D rating as you have paid for a hybrid to give you better miles / gallon

i have noticed this with my IS the throw of light seems to be pretty poor,1 question i have to ask is my car points uphill when on the drive so if i turn the headlights on whilst in this position will the datum for the headlights be set here ,so when you move onto the level road outside the beam set will now be low can anyone advise

when i had my ct i used 215/45/17 dunlop sport maxx rt they had good ratings for fuel economy ,wet braking & 67Db so quiet as well.
