  1. enjoy your test drive, dont expect to get the best milage out of the hybrid straight away it can take a little time to get used to the hybrid system but you will learn how to get the car to run in EV mode whilst driving around town,on the approach to a red light ease your foot off the accelerator and let the motors do some braking and recharge the batteries at the same time then use the foot brake like on any other car, dont forget to stick it in SPORT and give it a boot you wont be dissapointed
  2. i've never had a bmw the brand doesn't do anything for me ,what i can say about the IS300h is my daily commute is approx 26 miles per day i spend about 15 - 20 minutes around town and about 30 minutes of motorway driving per day and i am returning just over 47 mpg at the moment on motorway journey's the hybrid doesn't work as hard as round town ,when you put your foot down the hybrid system cuts in to assist the car accelerate rather than using loads of fuel to get you moving, OH and dont forget the road tax is £10 / yr how much is the BM .

  9. when i had my ct it had 17" wheels the ride was firm but not uncomfortable ,my se-L had heated leather seats with regards to the dog guard putting dents in the leather this wont be an issue in the ct due to the fact the boot in my opinion is too small to have a dog in there you will get a couple of suit cases in there and thats about all you really need to go an look and test drive one.
  10. when i had my CT200H SE-L it had manual folding mirrors to retro fit would be expensive i have just seen a 2nd hand mirror dont know if it is electric or manual but it was £299 for 1 mirror, looks like you will be folding manually .

  17. we haven't had any snow not a flake,if its forecast i'll send to you ganzoom. this is my 1st rear wheel drive i've had in about 30 years my last rear wheel drive car was my 18th birthday present a mk3 capri ,i'm wondering how tail happy the IS is, i want to feel what its like in slippery conditions but i dont want to lose it either
  18. i have recommended the Dunlop Sport Maxx Rt's before based on a 215/45/17 tyre fuel economy A rated wet braking C rated road noise 67Db look at the tyre ratings labels as there is no reason to buy a tyre that reduces fuel economy and a lot of them aren't good, fuel economy is a major factor in buying a hybrid , you will have the tyres for a long time so make the correct purchase. the above tyres are £86.50 from kwik fit if you book online so price wise they wont break the bank here is a link showing tyres and their ratings https://www.kwik-fit.com/tyres/search/results/215/45/17/W
  19. just over 47mpg so dropped about 5mpg over the winter months,my journey is 26 miles each day 10 miles round town & 16 miles on the motorway
  20. the impurities that are present on the bodywork are also present on the glass and by removing the impurities it makes the glass surface a lot smoother just like the bodywork therefore water will bead off with ease
  21. if you really want / need the anti glare you could try these off ebay @ £2.95 inc p&p for 2 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hellfire-Trading-2x-Anti-Glare-Matte-Screen-Protector-for-Kindle-Fire-HD-10-/391300033079?hash=item5b1b4caa37:g:TwUAAOSwAYtWJ29g they are for a 10" kindle fire just cut them down to size and put on your screen.

  23. i have used rain-x years ago & i found it made your wipers judderery across the windscreen maybe wipers / rain-x formula has changed over the years but i wouldn't use it again. i now clay bar the glass and use meguiars ultimate wax ,the wipers work perfectly really quiet & because of the wax the water sheets off with 1 pass of the wipers.
  24. i think i would give that garage a miss ,there is nothing to say they trade there a proper company would have a landline, only having a mobile isn't a professional way of operating and not having a showroom where you can browse whenever YOU want isn't right,i smell a rat.
