if you want to add an extra tune up speaker to your system i would buy the piece of trim that holds the tweeter, as this will maintain the factory fit look of the car and stop it looking like a tatty upgrade.

lexus did think of the supplying a spare wheel but this was only available in the USA later uk models of the ct do come with a space saver either as standard or as an option.

i cant imagine the steering wheel has been removed from your car so i feel it will need the tracking to be tested and reset .

thats probably why the controller feels quiet sensitive to use

the reverse light is not an led type bulb i think it is a w21w

i am using this as an example AB1 2CD (made up postcode) AB1 could be entered but the 2 was greyed out and not available for use i had to enter the area northwich,street name i sorted out the road types ,i just couldn't do it whilst driving.

i used the sat nav for the first time today and the graphics looked like they where designed by leapfrog or vtech i couldn't enter the postcode as it didn't give me the correct choice of numbers to choose from (address not a new build) my journey took me to Northwich i was prompted to turn right & follow the signs for Norwich on a few occasions the nav wouldn't take me on a motorway either ,an A road was always choosen for me. very very dissapointed considering this is the premium nav version.

you will probably find that the room card is using a magnetic strip if you have the card next to your phones speaker the speakers magnet can wipe the magnetic strip rendering your key useless

welcome to the forum buy yourself an elm adapter either bluetooth or wifi and download carista you will have to pay for the customizations options ,if there is the option to be a beta tester you will have the customizations for free during the beta period.

it makes no difference if you use the premium fuel in terms of mpg the only possible benefit is the fuel may have better cleaning agent mixed in.

the info i gave is for the CT without nav ,i used to have the SE-L without nav and the disp button is on the steering wheel if you have nav then you should of said,i did also say to look in the manual section 6-2 customization and you will find the nav version in there as well.

Hi Paul i also have moved from the ct to an IS i have the luxury model at the moment i am returning 46.7mpg and during the warmer weather i get 52'ish mpg so for me its only about 6mpg less than the ct its 6mpg worth losing,the IS is quicker ,quieter and smoother and pairing your phone is easy then transfer your phonebook in 1 what more can you ask for,i am on 17" all round and the tyres cost less for the IS compared to the CT must be a more everyday size . so to sum up pick up your wallet have a test drive then buy one before leaving the dealership.

without nav press the disp on steering wheel, go to settings, select vehicle then search for speed sensitive auto lock then disable it. or look in your manual chapter 6-2 customization

i feel on some colours like white & silver its hard to achieve a deep shine to the paintwork the 1st car i clayed was a ct200h in mesa red ,when you put your hand against the clayed, polished & waxed surface and compared to the next panel the reflection is clearer and more defined and shine is deeper saying that i feel that dark colours always seem to have a deep shine to them.

mist the detailing spray on to the paintwork and gently move the clay bar over the paint surface you can feel when the panel is free of contaminents as the clay bar will glide more freely when the clay looks dirty kneed the clay so you keep using a clean part of the bar. once you have clayed a panel give it a wax and put some wax on the next panel ,you will be able to see a deeper shine and also the difference in smoothness between the panels. i notice it more as i work in ellesmere port a stones throw from the stanlow oil refinery so loads of rubbish is pumped into the air and lands on my car. with regards to the timescale for the claying process if the paintwork is heavily contaminated it may take longer to complete

hi dave my phone didn't capture how the back of the boot lit up really well with just replacing the front light with leds. and the megiuars clay kit is great ,you may only need to use it once or twice a year thats all it will take you 15 minutes to go around your car,top tip for using clay bars break the bar in 2 pieces if you drop the clay DON'T EVER carry on using it throw it in the bin then carry on with the other half. here is a picture of my old ct200h ,i took a picture looking down the side of the car so half the picture is a reflection this was taken after claying and waxing.

you bought the lexus to be different on the road if you wanted to blend in you should of bought a bmw

i have also said if the likes of lexus,mercedes,bmw & audi are so much better than rival companies why cant they give a 7 year warranty to backup the quality of their brand.
