    i am pretty sure you can do a hard reset by pressing the on/off button in for about 10 - 15 seconds this can be used if the audio crashes and needs to be restarted.

    for me to buy an EV it would have to have the range of the tesla but i dont think i could afford one any other EV just isn't worth having because of the range

    i have dropped my car off tonight,should have the IS back on friday with a new ventillation system fitted i am so on edge incase they include some rattles and creaks that i didnt have before i hope it all goes well

    i misjudged when turning into kfc drive through and scrapped the underside on the top of a kerb stone luckily it happened in the ct i used to have

    have you used helicopter tape ,it is a thin clear plastic self adhesive tape you can get it off ebay ,its a bit like the rear door protection panels

    an update for the forum lexus are now replacing the entire ventillation system in the car luckily its being done under warranty,so my advice is if you have a strange creak when you adjust the temperature get it back to the dealer asap. hopefully i will have my car back mid / late next week.

    don't forget to have a 4 wheel alignment check done after getting your tyres changed as you dont want to be wearing them out prematurely, i use kwik fit as they have the hunter wheel alignment system which is the same as lexus and for £109 can have the alignment adjusted up to 8 times in a 2 year period without further charges go to lexus and you'll pay £90 for a 1 time only adjustment.

    my feeling exactly the yokohamas are a noisy tyre,the ride issue is probably due to the tyre always being flat across the tread so the side walls maybe firmer, just wait until the road is wet put your foot down the tyres just grip grip grip

    stoke have just had a major refit it took 2 months for the renovation work to be caried out it be interesting to hear your views on the showroom now. i bought my IS from there in August 2015 i dealt with George,Joe & Mike great dealership to buy from no pressure and take as long as you like to make your mind up,my opinion is stoke is one of the best dealerships to buy from.

    ask them to do a video of the car showing all panels and the interior so you can see the condition of the car before you decide to buy it and ask them to highlight any bad areas of the car ,you can then ask them to put right anything you dont like the look of.

    if you drive it in the manner you where taught to drive then there is no major change to your style when you learnt to drive you where taught to do the following:- 1) avoid hard acceleration 2) avoid late braking 3) anticipate where you may need to stop / slow down and ease of the accelerator. as long as you do the above then your milage will be good

    i have them on my IS and the grip in the wet is good ,when the auris hybrid we have needs tyres it will be cross climates i get for that car.without thinking, on the CT without trc OFF button every bit of extra grip will help you in winter times
