HI use this link https://www.lexus.co.uk/owners/servicing-and-maintenance/#Overview and scroll down to the servicing section you can then download the serviciing guide for each type of service

I would love to have the nerve to do this......

its safer being closer to the store when you have to guide your children across a busy car park its not too bad for us as we have a 3 yr old and a baby of 18 days ,one in the pram and one holding your hand. -

if i know its going to be busy at the shops i take my 3 year old and park in a parent & child bay loads of space then. -
i agree if your a sales rep with a company car then the purchase of the update is warranted

Hi mel sorry to hear that you have to buy your own windscreen washer fluid for the winter months, times must be tough for you with this outlay but i would swap your car outgoings for mine when i have to pay for :- monthly payments, servicing, road tax, insurance and windscreen washer fluid for all 4 seasons of the year.
-
lexus customers will largely be company owned cars so the cost of updates wont be an issue i think this is what John (roy) is meaning with his statement " probably not owning their own cars or paying for their fuel " it has nothing to do with the age of a car
-
even if you have an out of date satnav it will still get you to where you need to be so why bother paying so much for an update that is almost certainly out of date when it come to release.
-
you can start your car in ev mode i used to do it in the CT and now in the IS but it will depend if your car has enough charge in the battery,if you have to travel uphill when moving off also if you have the inside temp set much above LO then the engine will start as you have requested the temperature to be higher than it currently is therefore the engine needs to warm the coolant up.

here is a company that offers sound proofing kits http://www.nkgroup.co.uk/ on the audio is the a setting for ASL (auto sound level) if so turn it on. i had 17" wheels running dunlop sport maxx rt and my 2011 ct was nice and quiet if you move from low profiles you will have to go to 16" wheels and tyres. i have noticed the new ct's do seem to suffer from a lot of road noise or maybe i am used to my 300h

with cruise control it cannot forsee any upcomming gradients so if you know the road is going uphill slightly use the accelerator to assist this way you can normally still stay in the eco section on the guage rather than the cruise taking you into the power section and using more fuel.
-
you will generally never get to fully charged or fully discharged always a little from the top and bottom so perfectly normal so dont worry
-
if the map updates where of an affordable price most owners would buy the updates ,i feel you have to be able to justify the cost as most drivers will go to the same place and take the same route everyday so the sat nav is more of a toy waiting to be played with rather than a necessity.

even if you just have 4 wheel alignment checked and adjusted once a year which in itself is good practise then you have already started to save money as the four wheel alignment is priced at £89 i think for a 1 time check and adjustment, like any other insurance policy its there if you need it if you dont need it then you have had the re-assurance no future costs would be incurred.
-
you can go into kwikfit and pay £109 for the 8 times in a 2 year period for the wheel alignment on the hunter tracking system i have paid this for my partners car, the only difference being with the offer i paid £54.50 for my car.
-
if was in ellesmere port but it was a one day relaunch event ,i only needed 2 tyres at the time but went for 4 have a look if any of your local kwikfit branches are having the outlets updated with the new shop front as these will be the branches that have the 1 day offer it will be advertised outside the branch before the event starts. the alignment system this branch uses is the same equipment that lexus uses its called hunter hawkeye wheel alignment system and its absolutely spot on.

i always thought for a car to be lexus approved it had to have a full lexus service history this is a bit of an eye opener, so you px a car without a full lexus service history and get buttons for it then lexus spend a few quid on a major service then add £3000 / £4000 onto the price they gave to you when they re sell it ,that sounds like legalised robbery. -
i would go with the Ct without thinking about it, no rental for the battery pack that can be £70 per month this amount would cover your petrol virtually, then the advantages:- 1) dont have to give your employer an excuse for not coming into work of i didnt plug in my car 2) the ct will always be ready to use 3) no extra charging costs to pay 4) your not tethered to a plug socket 5) its a lexus and not a nissan

yes it does matter as my IS is a private car and not paid for by the company i work for, if i am paying full price for a service i expect to have the car serviced properly and for everything that is needed for the service to be changed / adjusted -

some items are check / replace this maybe a reason for some parts not being changed -

i use lexus chester but only because they are 5 minutes from work,as john has said the reception girls are good but the service side is lacking ,there is no urgency to complete a task,my car should of been repaired and after 2 months of no replies i had to start pestering them to get my car booked, i was then accused of damaging my car when the damage occured at lexus chester.they could do alot better. -
using the dash screen there is a menu in settings ,vehicle, maintenance you can change the next due date in there ,i am not 100% if this is just a reminder screen or if its connected to the service reset.
-
why cant dealers be honest and upfront with its customers you should be able to trust them

stand your ground Geoff and dont let lexus push you around my car went in and had the dashboard removed on return i had a mettallic rattle and a scratch on the A piller paintwork they acused me of scratching the car and that the ratlle pre existed ,i had to stand my ground and confront them my lexus dealer is as tight as a duck #@#@, i wouldnt ask someone to repair something i had damaged its fixed now but took some time to sort out
