    just make sure the adapter is compatible with carista as many of the elm327 are not compatible. you will need the full version of carista to alter the dealer customisations,i had to use the app earlier this year to reset the airbag system when an ambulance (skoda octavia) rolled back into me and set the warnings lights / messages off. its a really useful app to have with you ,and don't forget you are not paying for access to just lexus the customisations are for any vehicle that supports the dealer options.

    when i say i've tried it in the past its been on comparable vehicles CT200h and my IS300h and also on our Auris hybrid and its made no difference, higher octane fuels normally works better with high performance engines.

    quite right rayaans, as the sales team should be able to answer any question thrown at them rather than just saying no as they dont have a clue, and dont want to look stupid.

    save your money just buy a good brand of normal fuel i have tried it in the past and it made no difference... well except to your pocket at fill up time it cost me more. on our hybrids we use normal shell fuel.

    ultimately its down to you ,no one can make that decision for you, as only you will know how far you want the wheel to move outwards. maybe get another set of wheels with a different offset,then you can have a winter & summer set of wheels.

    you will find the car park spaces are quite generous at lexus so you wont have any issues leaving your car and i am sure they will take good care of it in the service bay. if it makes you feel more comfortable do a walk around video of your car or ask the dealership to do a walk round inspection when you leave the car.

    i ask the dealership not to wash my car but i do let them give it a vacuum.

    i used dunlop sport maxx rt make sure its the rt version as there is a sport maxx aswell.

    i did have the opportunity to have a test drive last week in liverpool ,i didn't bother going as i wouldn't of wanted to drive my IS back, today i had my mot and had a sit in one the seats really hug you and hold you in place its a nice place to be ,they let me start it in the showroom what a roar it makes it does sound so good,dont know if it would annoy me on a long drive, lovely car though its a shame i wont be able to afford one ever.

    i buy the refills from lexus at around £24 for the pair as i like the style of the oem blades with them being of a low profile style.

    use the paddles and knock it down a ratio or 2 it will hold your speed better than using cruise control, it will also recharge your batteries at the same time.

    have you ordered the model 3 yet ??? i had been looking into the model 3 dont know if i would get used to the speedo being in the corner of a tablet and not in front of you ,after speaking to tesla in knutsford i was also quiet surprised the second yr service could be so expensive at about £700 and the teslas are all insurance group 50, for me the extra it would cost to insurance and service would outweigh the savings in fuel,its a shame as i feel tesla is the only viable EV car in the market place today.

    i dont use my sat nav that often but it does drive me mad when it tells you to keep right when your going straight a head just because your passing an exit slip road .

    yes they normally are taking into account at renewal,the guy i spoke to said i'll put the app discount on the policy for you now which to me implied it hadn't been added this year as you wouldn't be able to have the discount twice, he also had to look if the app had to be completed annually but it doesn't ,finish the 200 miles once and that should be it for as long as your with aviva.. my renewal notice arrived within the last week and my renewal is early August.so there wasnt an issue to have the premium amended.

    thar your premium wont go up ,if you didnt meet the criteria you will pay the price thats been quoted then depending what score you get will depend what discount you will receive ,you only have to use the app for 200 miles and can manually start the app, this way only the journeys you want to record will be recorded so if you get up late for work one day you wouldn't record that journey . at the end of the day thar you have nothing to lose and everything to gain,just make sure your google account email address is the same you use for Aviva as the 2 can be paired up.

    try this company http://shop.bradleysmart.co.uk/16-consumables?orderby=price&orderway=asc&p=17 i have had a can of paint for my leather seats from bradleys the aerosol has done a great job ,somehow i had a bluey tint in the middle of the drivers seat towards the front edge,the mark seemed to be in the leather and not on the surface,anyway 2 months later and no issues with the finish. when spraying just very very lightly mist the seat give it a few coats and the jobs done.

    my insurance last year for my IS300h came in at £388,this year my renewal came in at £517 these prices where from Aviva i queried the price and asked if my aviva drive app discount had been applied ,after it was applied my quote came down to £370 so very happy with that price.

    the blue and red leds above the centre console change colour ,when you are in sport mode and the dashlights are red so is the overhead led ,when in normal or eco the led turns back to blue

    the Auris has these hidden menus you can check your gps nav aerial,the nav ext box , steering wheel button operation and loads more,the Auris is touch screen and you press the screen in 2 places where there are NO buttons to gain access.
