  1. by the sound of it you dont have the premium nav as the premium supports 3 way split screen i have radio, mpg & ventillation screens all showing at the same time
  2. i know people hate kwikfit but my local branch is good one person will spin the wheel bolts in by hand then torque them up, followed by another staff member checking the tightness of the bolts before the car is returned to you.
  3. what tyres did you purchase from lexus ?? as some tyres are marked outside & inside so the tyre has to be fitted the correct way around i.e. outside visible from the road, the reasons are probably very similar to the above response, i've had bad experience with my local lexus so i wouldnt believe everything they say. the other option would be to tell your dealership that you are going to have the tracking set elsewhere and would require them to re-imburse you the cost if its successful as it would prove the dealership cannot track a car properly.
  4. sorry Ben for alarming you i thought you had a IS hybrid my mistake i read the battery going flat part which is the same as me and assumed your car was a 300h
  5. the car is out of warranty so i wouldn't bother if it aint broke dont fix it as your milage is next to nothing if you where having the eml light coming on for misfire on cyl ??? then replace them , i dont feel its worth £150 for the change or do them yourself, you can buy coil pack pulling tools cheaply probably 20 mins work as they are mounted under the plastic engine cover.
  6. the batteries are really expensive i have found them on the internet for £250'ish price range this isnt a genuine oem battery either ,so i agree with martin get it replaced under warranty if its needed.
  7. i had the flat battery issue in jan this year after we had a baby over christmas time. it took me by surprise when i tried to start the car and all the dash started to flash , needles started to flick and since there was little power in the battery i couldn't turn it off either. my car has been serviced this year and i haven't been told they have found any problems like yours.
  8. the Usa are old school i.e. imperial measurements instead of metric and with the speed limits mph is the common speed sign you will see
  9. i'm with you rayaans the 8 speaker system is really good i wouldn't alter any part of it.
  10. i changed the speakers when i had my Ct same issue with the wiring so i made a lead up using the type in the attached image, i removed 1 of the legs of the connector and this fitted into the lexus speaker plug this enabled me to return to the original setup.
  11. i have had courtesy Ct's and if i remember correctly my 61 plate Ct was considerably quieter than the new ones when it comes to road noise and the new Ct's suspension feels very firm indeed or maybe i am used to my IS
  12. i would have a look at the car breakers in irelend,or are there any companies that retrim car interiors or boats as they could possibly make a replacement panel and machine it back in to the cover for you.
  13. i bought my warranty for the CT in december 2014 so its been with the TWG for a long time now then in August 2015 i had to cancel the policy and get a refund as the policy isn't transferable to a dealership ,they where a right pain where the sun dont shine ,took me 1 month to get a refund. you are made to feel that it is a proper lexus warranty that you are buying .
  14. this is where the lexus warranty comes from :- the warranty group TWG Services Ltd The Aspen Building, Floor 2, Vantage Point Business Village Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire, GL17 0AF i know this as this is where i had to try and get a refund after i sold my CT to a lexus dealership as i found out the warranty isnt a lexus warranty just a 3rd party warranty ,this company deals with all the other brands aswell honda, nissan to name just 2.
  15. if you look in the coolant tank & the hybrid system coolant tank they will both be pink in colour they already have an antifreeze mix
  16. whoever lowered their 300h must love the sound of their car grinding over speed bumps why would anyone want to lower a car thats already low enough,i know the other week i heard the palstic grinding sound as i went over a speed bump it made me cringe.
  17. on the day my windows opened i had been using a fork lift truck at work and the button must of been pressed and held whilst working.
  18. wayne just a warning if you keep your keys in your pocket like i do. when i had the window option enabled and without knowing i put all my windows down luckily for me it was a hot day ,but some owners haven't been so luckly and its happened in winter time and they've ended up with wet seats.if lexus change the setting they will ask you if your sure you want it enabling as they have had many complaints regarding windows being opened unknowingly ,this is why the option is off as std.
  19. when i had my Ct i used to average 63 mpg in summer and around 57 mpg in winter now in my IS i average 48.4 mpg so your low mpg must be related to your right foot
  20. this is what lexus stoke told me before i purchased the car if you look at the chart in pobrown's comment you will see the leather, heated ,ventillated and electrically adjustable where options on the luxury trim
  21. i have the luxury model it had the premium nav & rear view camera ,leather seats ,heated ,ventillated and electrically adjustable on 17" wheels the dealer told me for the seats and nav to be upgraded cost in the region of £6000 when the car was new sept 2013.
  22. as long as it has full service history you should be able to buy a 2yr warranty from lexus for £495 inc AA breakdown for the 2 yrs
  23. i also have noticed a turbo whistle like sound when putting your foot down recently
  24. my only gripe with the rear view camera is that it isnt heated so the lens clears itself , the amount of times i get to work and find there is water on the lens that stops you seeing clearly behind you.
