    i am actually parked in a marked out parking bay so i am parked in the correct place i finish work at 15.45 so i need to be on the end for me to leave without having to ask others to move their cars every day as they finish at 17.00 so would be a pain. i now padlock the gate in the closed position and only 8 others have the key so it will stay shut.

    i had cruise control retro fitted on my ct se-L for £213 at my local dealer back in 2013 but since then i have retro fitted cruise to our Auris hybrid and it cost me £16 for the cruise switch and around 15 - 20 minutes to install ,i also added the auto dimming rear view mirror from a honda accord as it has the same mount and only 2 wires to connect +12v & earth wire so maybe you could be happy with an SE-L rather than paying for the premier version.

    the same happened to me but this happened in my works carpark where you'd expect your car to be safe. a contractor came in the works carpark and opened the the big steel gate into the side of my car, i'd had my car less than 2 weeks so i was really peed off luckily the only damage was to the protection film on the rear door so this has now been replaced but still cost me £26 for the film for something that wasn't my fault. the question is why would anyone intentionally open the gate into your car.

    the IS doesnt have the overhead lights for the centre console like you find in the CT. you will find that the lights only work when its dark ,during daylight hours your interior lights wont come on if you want to test them place a cloth over the sensor at the bottom of the windscreen on the passenger side your puddle lights,footwell lights & interior lights will all illuminate now. i do find the lighting in the IS is really poor so i have changed all mine to Leds such an improvement.

    obviously Richard you had your phone on a mount and you used your voice to start & stop the recording, as you wouldnt dream of breaking the law would you :-) as you only have to have your phone in your hand whilst the engine is running nowadays to be fined & get points

    * the best spec is the one that meets your needs i.e. some have nav and some dont the nav have a screen without nav no screen even if you dont want nav i would go for one with a screen * i used to return 60mpg +/- 3 mpg * it has a 45ltr or 10 gallon tank * make sure the recalls have been completed * you can always buy an extended warranty for £495 for 2 yrs inc AA roadside assistance if the car doesnt come with a long warranty.

    from time to time i suffer from back issues so for me the camera is really important as i dont have to twist to look behind, i can just use your mirrors and screen. Oh how times have changed. in the early 90's i fitted parking sensors this is way before oem's fitted them as std, my co workers mocked me for having them now they all have and use them, just having sensors take more getting use to as your head is saying stop but the sensors are saying carry on at least with a camera you can see exactly where you are and know when to stop using the red line.

    can confirm carista can be used to change this setting. i have enabled this on a ct i had years ago and without knowing put all my windows down lucky for me the weather was nice ,i suppose all windows up isnt a bad thing to have enabled, you can have the same function from using the key element in the door lock, again only if its enabled.

    20 years ago i purchased parking sensors from this company great product and great to deal with for info before purchasing.

    since you have fitted them before dont let the word hybrid put you off fitting them yourself the reverse light is still powered by 12v so just tap in to the wire for your feed. in the centre console there is a AUX input socket via a 3.5mm jack plug so you could wire in a camera and have it displayed on the screen in the car, just use the mode button on the steering wheel to change the source.

    Hi steve yes it is in graphite black. i have Premium Nav , electric leather seats with memory, blind spot monitoring auto high beam ,radar i dont have the avs as i dont have the sport+ mode things i do like is the chrome / gold finish around the front grill and the dark seats as light grey in my other 300h was a bugger to keep clean with working in an engineering works.

    i have the premium nav,auto high beam where the micro sd nav map goes it has the dolby logo and the large screen i couldnt tell you if it has the avs & ml as well wouldnt know what to look for
