  1. Hi Farhad quote "Do not connect the IS-220 blower motor to your CT200H as is. it will blow up the 50A fuse." what did you have to do to stop the 50A fuse from blowing
  2. using the paddles can help you to maintain your speed if your going down hills and yes it does give you better regen ,try slowing down and watch the power gauge then use the paddles you will see the blue line dip and stay in the regen area
  3. i'm on my 2nd IS300h and have never had any form of knocking noises
  4. try following this link for jp-carparts you get exploded views so you may be able to see how things are put together https://jp-carparts.com/lexus/cartypelist.php?maker=lexus&type=242130
  5. tbh i like the look of the plastic cover on the footrest over the drilled alluminium plate it just looks so messy having the extra plate ,with the plastic cover its clearly defines that you only have 3 pedals rather looking like you have 4 pedals
  6. i always remove the plastic tray as it divides the glovebox into 2 useless partions
  7. i had a rattling sound on my last 300h, it drove me mad for weeks i was about to remove the steering wheel and luckily found the rattle had been coming from a metal clip on the kick panel above the driver foot well a bit of self adhesive felt on the clip cured the issue.
  8. replacement of the ventilation system on my previous Is300h
  9. you have to cover the rear sensor so the mirror thinks its dark
  10. you can test the auto dimming feature have your ignition on cover the sensor on the rear of mirror( facing the windscreen) shine a torch at the mirror and you should see the mirror dim after a few seconds the dimming should be quiet noticable.
  11. my 17 plate F sport 225/40/18 on the front & 255/35/18 on the rear
  12. as far as i'm aware lexus dont have their own bodyshops they use approved body repair centres i know lexus chester use roberts refinishing in ellesmere port and for minor repair work lexus liverpool have a mobile guy that comes in if your not happy now's the time to let them know and leave it with them to sort out.
  13. here is a link for the site i used https://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
  14. i have attached a image of wheel calculator thoses wheels will give you some issue if the stock tyres are fitted i found the tyre sizes on an advert on ebay for the rx450 19 wheels
  15. how accurate will the speedo be with the larger 19" wheels have you checked to make sure the speedo will display correctly
  16. oh my god if lexus chester is better than Lexus Twickenham they must be awful i wouldn't trust lexus Chester to change the wheel on wheel barrow they'd probably need a photo to know where the wheel came from, they are absolutely disgusting company to deal with, and i work less than a mile away from them but prefer to drive 20 miles , pay a tunnel toll and go to Lexus Liverpool as they have pride in there work. they done so many things wrong when they changed the ventillation system on my last Is300h and blamed there poor workmanship on me. if the place went on fire and raised to the ground it wouldn't be a loss to the dealer network.
  17. i agree lexus should put some nice quiet tyres on their cars it seems barmy having built a quiet car they then fit noisy tyres.
  18. after i bought my 1st IS i found the rear door skin had been replaced as the integrity of the door frame hadn't been compromised so this maybe the route that will be taken with your door
  19. i'm pretty sure its located in the boot of the car in the rear quarter panel area
  20. Hi Shada try this company they always have IS300h for breaking https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-Lexus-IS300H-Hybrid-BREAKING-Engine-Gearbox-Door-Lamp-Seat-Bumper-Mirror/273533688495?hash=item3fafe0daaf:g:m4gAAOSwjUxbPgYc
  21. if you have keyless entry turn the feature off otherwise the car will always be searching for your key and wasting battery power
  22. they may pull the dent out there are systems available to do this they weld keys to the car body . below is an example of the system in use
  23. lucky you found it on the floor and not in your tyre.
