  1. i've experienced central locking operating slowly on my last IS when there wasnt enough power to operate all the car systems on unlocking ,my comment is regarding warning signs yes i agree with a flat battery you can have illuminations like blackpool with lights flickering on & off randomly and error messages being displayed.
  2. the only possible warning you will have with a failing 12v battery is the central locking will operate slowly

  6. if you can measure where the center of the stalk is you should be able to mark up the old blanking cover and drill a hole in it then on the rear side place a piece of thin rubber to go around the stalk this will keep the dust out of the steering wheel like on the original.

  8. there should be a removal tool in the fuse box cover check inside the fuse box covers on both of the fuse boxes
  9. i had cross climates on my last IS ,you cant compare them to the yokohamas the cross climates are just better in every way quietness being the main factor

  11. i've just been out to my car and changed the speedo from MPH to KMH on the dash i havent road tested but i am sure its will read in KMH Goto settings general units of measurement change to ltr / km you will see the speedo changing from MPH to KPH
  12. there is normally some spare fuses in the fuse box have a look on the fuse diagram for their location.
  13. with buying 2nd hand cars i have never had the OP's question asked as you generally dont have many colour options except for the cars in stock at the time, when i bought my IS in April 18 only 2 cars available 1 without premium nav and a black IS with, the black car came home with me even though i always said i would never buy another black car. buy what makes you happy and dont care about what other people think its your money not theirs that your spending.

  16. i use carista with an elm 327 bluetooth obd2 adapter, before buying the elm make sure its compatible with the carista app as many aren't or alternatively buy the carista adapter. i have used the app to reset hybrid errors and also airbag alarms so pretty useful to have with you.

  20. just remove the blanking plate on the side of the steering wheel insert the switch and fasten in place with 2 screws m5 i think and put the white plug in the vacant socket in the steering wheel
  21. yes plug and play press the button on the end of stalk and you will see the CC emblem illuminated press the stalk down once when doing 30mph 'ish and the word SET will appear cruise control is working
  22. when i had a new CT as a courtesy car it felt really harsh i can't ever remember my 2011 Ct being as hard as this what tyres do you have i had dunlop sport maxx rt and the ride was good
