  5. Hi Mike 1) i would give the tyres a good look over as the car is 3 / 4 years old and the tyres maybe nearing their end of life 2) ask for them to install the latest nav update as its expensive to have the update installed later on. 3) i always ask for a paint touch up stick in case i get any stone chips especially with gritters being present over the winter months

  7. jack remove both door switch panels and see if the holes are the same size if they are then a Lhd panel wouldn't be an issue for you to fit lets face it the only difference between Lhd & Rhd is the position of items in the car
  8. i wouldnt believe what the catalogue is saying as this reffering to a level of trim and not what can / can't be fitted. i would remove your back seat and see what mounting points are present obviously where the split is you should have a mounting for the 2 pivot points, a pivot point either side, and the locking hooks at the top on either side. if you dont have the needed mounts you could have a trimmer stich the 2 pieces of the rear seat cover together to make one cover for the back and then fit it onto your fixed back.
  9. try demon tweaks https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/section/suspension/ add your car to the garage on the web site then search for your parts, they sell road ,race & performance parts ,they are a well known for quality parts

  13. if you get hold of the jet at the windscreen end it should slide backwards and unclip, if it doesnt unclip using a small screwdriver (precision type) gently pry the jet at the back end and the jet will pop out, get a jug of hot water and using a syringe and a piece of tubing suck the hot water through the jet and then back through do this a few times and you'll clear the jet to refit the jet locate the back of the jet (tubing end) 1st and as your pressing backwards press upwards at the same time and it will clip back in. i do this as a matter of course every 6 months to help keep the spray pattern as it should be. i hope this helps you
  14. the paid version of carista is able to program the tpms sensors
  15. if it was just the head of the screw thats of no use once lexus had removed the cover would it of been possible for them to use some pliers around the head of the screw and then unscrew it, if this wasn't possible mix a bit of araldite and glue a small screwdriver to the head of the screw once the glue has dried you may be lucky
  16. i think DRL should light the rear lights aswell,i have seen SOOO many cars without rear lights being on as the drl circuit illuminates the dash lights and people forget to actually turn the lights on
  17. that old saying is true " you can't teach an old dog new tricks"

  19. over the years i have used quick colour paint on my hybrids from screwfix https://www.screwfix.com/p/quick-colour-spray-paint-gloss-black-400ml/5368v over caliper paint and never had an issue with it due to the fact that most braking is regen so therefore you dont have excessive amounts of heat building up in the calipers.
