  1. I agree it is over priced for the mileage. I mentioned in another thread there is a red carbon car with 17k on it for 39 from a dealer. The grey one is worth no more than 30k imo.
  2. Really? It does not compare to the mentioned cars at all imo. The lc-f would though. The rcf and lc500 are both comparable in the sense they have the same engine, both are gt/sports cars, both rwd etc. The only difference is the rcf has usable back seats.
  3. Yup, but at the moment (and when isf owners were debating the rcf) the price differential was more like 30k. If not more.
  4. At the time the rcf was selling for 60k ish and the isf I imagine was 20k ish so the rcf wasn’t 3 times the car. Now the rcf can be had for only 10k more than an isf so it is a good choice. If the lc depreciates in the same way then you may be right. Point being the price disparity at the point they are both being discussed this conversation holds water.
  5. Definitely lost he very clear opening sound of the second intake on mine. It was still there but was FAR less obvious.
  6. Does look great. Does it get rid of the second intake sound? It did on my isf.
  7. Is it an excellent price? There is a red carbon from a dealer with 17k on it for £39k. I think with that many miles it’s probably a little high.
  8. Like others have said it’s a lot of money over and above an rcf when it doesn’t really offer a lot more. In terms of performance, handling dynamics and comfort etc
  9. I’ll start the bidding now? £5 and a bag of percy pigs 😂
  10. To be fair mine (when I get it) will live in the garage under a cover hooked up to a trickle charger unless being driven. It will go on track, it will go to Europe etc but it will be a second toy car that is maintained to a far higher standard than my daily. Enjoyed to the fullest when I want to enjoy it.
  11. The exhaust note when buying a performance car is a large consideration. The sound is a very large part of the joy of sports cars (any car!). This is why the new porker boxsters and caymans with the flat 4 literally hit a flat note and this is mentioned in every review.
  12. Massive thanks to Martin for bringing his stunning blue rcf over and taking me out in it. It solidified my initial thoughts and banished and very small concerns I had mainly around the styling. The rear lights don’t stick out as far as I feared and actually look very good in person. The front lights look fantastic and the front end is very aggressive. The chrome I can easily black out. The car has a lovely low seating position and the cabin really surrounds you. Super comfortable seats and soft materials where it matters such as where your arms and legs rest. As I expected m, it feels very high quality inside indeed. The car sounds superb. The car felt squat and planted around corners and when it was accelerating. Also, my word it just keeps pulling all the way to red line! When it feels like it should change gear it just keeps pulling all the way to red line. Very impressive. Defiantly my next car. Just a waiting game now. Thanks again Marin 👍
  13. My god I hope not! At least not as quickly as you state. It will take longer than that to get the infrastructure in place to support a nation of electric cars and a lot of development is needed in to either better range and/or far faster charging.
  14. Each has its positives clearly. I was merely stating It’s difficult to go against a history of m3 and c63 being market leaders.
  15. Lexus are continuing to establish the f over here. In the states it has a great following. It will take time for people to realise it is a better car to own in many ways as it has been drilled in to us all that the m3 and c63 the best on offer.
  16. Agreed. It’s not like an old Ferrari where a person can make hundreds of thousands. Too many cars to enjoy to hold on to one that won’t return heaps of money.
  17. Hard to tell. Will they ever be classics worth £££££ In theory they have it all going for them: - v8 which is dying out - Very low volumes - Well regarded Time will tell. It all depends if Lexus can produce f cars in the future that garner the desirability of porker and the like. If they can the desirability will filter down and push prices up. It’s in Lexus’s hands.
  18. I have not looked but they are substantially more than conti contact sport 6, given the review above that’s what I would go for.
  19. Indeed. My Evora is still selling for the price I paid 3 years ago! I think once the rcf hits 30-35 depreciation will slow considerably.
  20. Time will tell but I doubt it. When I buy next year I am anticipating losing 1k per year in depreciation.
  21. The weight saving comment was a joke! But in all seriousness I don’t feel the need for a spare wheel. As I say, we have recovery services for such occasions.
  22. This is why we have recovery services though? Think of the weight savings 🤣
