Those callipers should be in all the cars as standard. Love them. Interior is.... well... bit minging and personally I don’t like matte paint.

The matte paint is a bit of a shocker as is the interior colour. Looks to still have chrome accents? Can’t see this selling well! Love the wheels though.

LCf is a shout ince it depreciates to glacial financial loss. I am quite excited to see what it will be like.

It is the stradale my friend owns and maybe he has been unlucky but has had quite a few issues with his. It certainly is a good looking car but not sure I’d feel confident crossing continents in it.

The Maserati is just so damn unreliable and the gearbox is a pig. You need to lift to shift gear for smooth changes. It’s beautiful but the Lexus would be a better dynamic car and way more reliable.

I guess this is the issue. The more expensive the cars we buy the more expensive everything is. I seem to recall vantage service costs range from 800-1500 ish. You certainly want a extended warranty on anything like these.

I really am not a fan of the elongated body and 4 doors. It’s coupe or sports car for me. The rapids is a single car solution more than a toy I think. We will always have a second car for family duty. If I had the wedge it would be a Ferrari gtc4 lusso.

I like to try and think 2 cars ahead but it’s hard to know with my daughter. She is 5 but is the height of a 6 year old so in 3 years time it all depends if she fits in the back of a coupe! If she does I don’t think there is a better car than the rcf as a package. Don’t like the porker panamara, the Maserati is slower, more expensive to run, less reliable etc. She wouldn’t fit in a db9, 911or Evora by that stage and I don’t want a saloon! So bugger knows! if I get a 2 seater id love the new vantage as long as it depreciates in line with the current line. An Aston is a dream car for me. The ultimate goal is a McLaren but that is many years off. The issue is the rcf really is a fantastic package sonthe question is almost ‘what are you looking to sacrifice to gain something different in your next car?’.

As above no one is asking for justification. The thread was started stating the car is over priced for a private sale based on the current market. Buying or selling makes no difference. I think Linas is correct but his valuation was a little low. The market will let us know soon enough weather the price is indeed correct.

Indeed. And getting the actual part is far better than wrapping as the wrap will peak and fade over time compared to the own part. When the time comes it might be best to have all the chrome replaced with the black edition car parts.

Aye, 32k part exchange as they want your business on another car. They would also make an offer to buy the car outright which I imagine will be 30k ish and they will then list it for 35ish. As such for a private sale you are at around 30k. It may well be in very good condition but these cars are toys for many and it has high miles compared to many. I’m not trying to be rude here just some objective thoughts. These cars are hard to shift from dealers let alone private sales.

Ok so I was about right at 30k private sale then. You may be better off asking what Lexus will pay to take it as opposed to going down the private sale route. Good luck with the sale.

C2v3 is great and can be used in glass and plastic so basically the entire car! It has made cleaning my car approximately 90 minutes quicker and reduced the number of products I use. Gtechnique products are very good in general. I have used may detailing product and you end up trialing many before you settle on what works for you.

Also, awful gear boxes. A mate has one and makes excuses for the gear box. It has been to the garage for various repairs over his short 12 month period. Also the carbon fibre door handles are flaking and need replacing as around 600 each just for the handle. He has the 2010 grantourismo.
