  1. What Pete said. It would also be a lot cheaper to get any number of aftermarket exhaust options or custom one than a Lexus one putting it back to stock. Lots of folk in America run no cats with no adverse issues. Dyno the car and see what you think. Sounds like some sort of exhaust system is needed to replace the bad job currently on the car though. Stu
  2. I think the exclusivity of the rcf for me makes it desirable. Reviews seem to be better the more they happen. All however say it's too heavy. That isn't an issue for not track going folk but it will put off many.... It just will. As an every day car it is great, practical (ish), looks great, sounds great, great spec etc Be great to hear your thoughts against the bmw when you get it. Stu
  3. Had my 60k service done yesterday and the 2 for 1 warranty was still available. Interesting that I was told it's the same price for all IS models (including the ISF) but they don't cover some of the LS models in the deal. Happy days. If they want to price up isf same as is that's their decision I guess but seems an odd one.
  4. Can I plot a route with way points on my 08 nav system?? Stu
  5. You won't regret it fella. Will sound lovely. Stu
  6. I'll see if mine does at some point. I know what you mean. Specified mine to be grungy on idle and under load but not so on cruining. Love it! Sounds how a v8 should. Stu
  7. This, can't be h&s as branding is clear and not sure anyone has 2nd cats removed. Be interested to know if it is h&s. Stu
  8. If it's the same system they yes. It will have a 'Hayward and scott' brand on the system when you look. If it is then happy days! I was first to get the system fitted and love it. It has smaller back boxes than stock, also removes rear resonator and is a true dual system. Stu
  9. If you google 'Lexus isf exhaust' and select images you can see a comparison of the stock system against and aftermarket one laid out on the floor. Looks like primary cats are indeed after headers.
  10. I don't but have a clip from the 2nd cats back. I believe the primary cats are after the headers...
  11. Nice little update their mate. I believe the temp flashes when it goes below x degrees. Not sure what x degrees is though. Agree re tpms. I think less electronic interference in sports mode is good personally. I like the wheels but some one the American csrs look lovely! Exhaust was a must for me. As I have said many times they are truly amazing cars from every perspective. Do you prefer It over your m cars or do you just find it to be different? Stu
  12. May get corrected but I'm pretty sure the American lot remove secondary cats with no issue. I believe it's the primary cats that have the sensor in. No issues with removing the secondary cats, will free up a few ponies and will be louder. Not sure how loud though. May get noise ingress in to the car. Stu
  13. Can't help re flashing temp but my battery was changed last year on a 08. No idea if it was done prior to me buying the car though. Definitely had more wheel spin lately than ever before and reminds me to exercise more caution! Stu
  14. Had this on my f and just needed regas. Stu
  15. Got the touch up kit from Lexus today but not sure what step 12 means. Looks like some sort of buffing ?? Stu
  16. Normal and yellow. There are 3 modes that will make reaponse sharper. Yellow, purple and red. yellow being least pokey and red the most. The other modes are for fuel saving and snow. As such I would only use snow, normal and yellow and sports mode. Took some driving in stop start traffic to find a suitable choice for me. Stu
  17. Ordered laquer and paint from Lexus. Mnmj - Did you did you do any prep before applying paint and laquer? Stu
