  1. One abused f!!! Can't imagine anyone touching it. Missing tips shows lack of care of the car. Loads of warning lights and as such no idea on cost to repair... Can only assume cost of repair is too great for that owner so more red lights.
  2. The people have spoken and I have listened ;) More dates added. Stu

  14. As above really. Also, it will still depreciate a reasonable amount. The isf was limited in terms of numbers and still depreciated in line with the bmw m3. However now the older models seem to be slightly higher value than their bmw competitors. The Lexus 'f' brand has moved on since then and there was a lot more rcf marketing so depreciationsybr better as awareness about the car is a lot higher. He can still buy some amazing up to 5 year old cars for a lot less! 911, xkr, 370z etc Stu

  16. Was thinking maybe we just meet on a pub near Cambridge or that way this time to give others a opportunity to come. I'll start a thread
  17. Sadly dealer is probably the only place to source replacements. You could get back boxes made up either side with realy tips like the back of my system. would probably still be 400 odd but for both sides. Would be an opportunity to put smaller back boxes on and get a nicer sound. If you can stomach the cost you would be better off doing a cat back system for 800 ish. Stu
  18. Looks good fella. Nice work. Reasonable amount of effort involved there!
  19. I don't think the view of one non owner represents the general public perception! Like others I'm not sparing for a fight here but you can't argue with supply and demand! If the prices are too high they will come down. I'm not surprised they are more expensive than the m3 and c63 at similar age and mileage, as already stated it offers more reliability so cheaper to run out of warranty, exclusivity which people do value and compatible performance. Obviously we will say its a great car as we all chose it for the above reasons but I tried to believe owners on here singing the cars praises will impact values. Stu
  20. Obviously we will all back the f and that's why we bought them. Supply and demand though re pricing. If an 08 sells for 25k that's what the market will bare. Also, as these cars get older c63 and m3 ownership costs will be far heavier in terms of worse reliability. Looks is subjective and the later isf was as good as the c63 and m3 around tracks from what I recall. Also far better spec as standard. I really do believe it is the best all round option when compared to the competition and that coupled with rarity will always stand in its favour when considering depreciation. Stu
  21. Anyone bracing the weather?? There is a 'snow' mode so it must be capable :) Stu
  22. You would probably be better off buying some aftermarket wheels fella. You won't get a set of ISF wheels external from a dealer I imagine. Stu
  23. Indeed. It's all about going in to a purchase with your eyes open knowing as much as possible about the car in question. Stuart
