  1. I have the is-f and I do have to wind myself in a bit. I am 6 foot 2. The automatic steering wheel does help though. I don't experience any pain though.
  2. I LOVE the H and as exhaust. Never get bored of its sound. Stu
  3. Cheers Stu....will have to have a look at Gleam machine now. I don't really see the point of the alloy protection from UF...I can do the same thing for a fraction of their cost...same as the glass treatment. Agreed. Seems more a product sale than a service. Independent detailers use what they deem to be best. Also the guy I am going to see takes 3-5 days to do the work! Madness. Stu
  4. The gleam machine one looks more conprehensibe for similar money. Be interesting to see what they do other than paint. The ultimate finish price is 435 including VAT before selecting a finishing wax which adds up to another 95 to the price. Adding alloy wheel and glass treatment adds 140 when they look to be included by gleam machine. In fact choosing wax, adding windows and wheels puts you almost at full paint correcrion price of gleam machine! Stu
  5. I'll check what colour they go next time I go out at night but mine defiantly reduce glare. Stu
  6. Decided to treat my f to a full detail now it is garaged due to the sale of my motorbike and trailer. Will be getting full paint correction and detail on the exterior, maybe engine bay and also interior detailed. Did some digging on 'detailing world' and was recommended a company/guy called 'http://gleammachine.net'. His portfolio looks superb and he has worked on some very high end machinery. He would have my car for a week. Seeing him on March for a chat to see what needs to be done and then get it booked in for late April. Quite looking forward to it. I'll keep this thread updated. Stu
  7. Hmmm, mine defiantly auto dim. When you drive at night do you get glare from the lights behind you? Stu
  8. Mine do and it's an 08 so imagine they all do. They go a geeny/blue colour so obvious when they do. Stu
  9. Oh ok not too far away. Shame about timing. Most if not all have the takeda intake but fitting would be similar. Stu
  10. Maybe too far but I am organising a meet in Cambridge in April. There is a thread in the meets section. The Apexi needs special tools that can be bought for cheap but Pete can comment on that. The intake is very easy to fit for anyone, even a monkey like me. H&S system is a blinder. Really makes the car complete for me. I LOVE the sound. Where in greater London are you chap? Stu
  11. The Apexi theottle controller does give it more poke on initial acceleration. I know this was discussed but on find it really useful. Id be happy for you to give it a go if you ever come to a meet. Stu
  12. Temp is my default view so maybe if you cycle to it then it doesn't happen but if you have it selected on start up it flashes. Stu
  13. At! Nice work. It did seem cheap. That is just one more reason not to buy it. Stu
  14. Lovely car and colour. Well chosen. Stu
  15. No issue so far with me chap. Maybe take it to a dealer to have camber looked at. Stu
  16. Some nice motors there! Pop along to some meets if you have the time. Agree it's more about condition with these cars. Good luck with the search chap. Stu
  17. To be clear all isf cars have lsd BUT the 2010 models onwards have a mechanical lsd. If you are a very experienced driver on a track you will notice the difference. Otherwise I find it hard to believe a regular bid could even tell. Either way you will be happy :)
  18. I'll be heading out for a jaunt with a mate at 9am on the 15th feb if anyone is game? We will be meeting and driving around the finchingfield area. Having lunch and returning home for 2 ish. I'll post a map of the route at some point this week. Stu
  19. Me either but some said they hadn't seen a temp indicator. Stu
  20. Fyi my temperature gauge was flashing when it indicated 3 degrees. Mine is a 08. Stu
  21. It looks like they are still feeling out the market. Some (like the blue 2010) is cheap as it has some question marks over it. Also some have extended warranty and some don't and some etc. seems to have settled at between 20 and 25k for a 08 model. Stu
