  1. I'm glad. The show needs a refresh and getting rid of him or all 3 of them is no bad thing. Maybe it will survive and maybe it won't. Either way it was tired, contrived and as a car show a load of poop. Good luck to them if they go elsewhere. Stu
  2. I don't disagree and clearly it is over be legal limit I am just saying it is safer to do it in modern cars than it ever has been in the past. This in no way condones it just stating a fact. Stuart
  3. I'll be doing half day palmersport session this summer with some friends. Looks epic!
  4. Sounds like fun! I am always amazed by the power when accelerating at speeds of 50 and above. It just keeps pulling! How did you gain access? Stu
  5. The OP seems I have done a runner. In modern cars it is very easy to do over 100mph and be in complete control. The cars today are pllanted, stable and cruise at high speeds with ease. Stu
  6. Only collision damage waiver. Used to be free then charged twice then not last time. Stu
  7. Fair point. My insurance is 550 ish so 100 extra is not drama. Stu
  8. My premium only rose by £100 so that's not true. Stuart
  9. There are no excuses! It's just dealing with the consequences now. Stu
  10. Over 100mph is a court summons, defiante ban and a definite fine and or points. Amount of each will depend on circumstances e.g. Traffic volume, weather conditions, road conditions etc. licence history also comes in to play. The day I collectd my ISF i was caught doing 102 on an empty motorway in dry clear and sunny conditions. I received £500 fine, 14 day ban and no points. I had a clean licence at the time. Stu
  11. Had both done, courtesy car with no charge this time and £25 of fuel from Lexus for inconveniencing me :)
  12. Let's meet at a McDonald's and make a Uk one!
  13. He seems very good. I don't have the patience or time to do it myself. Luckily having sold my motorbike the f now lives in my garage :)
  14. Went to visit Rob today and he is a nice bloke. He recommended a paint correcrtion which if I wash the car carefully will last over a year. He measured the thickness of the paint across all panels and all checked out fine. He then got out a light which replicates sun light to see which pannels were worst effected with swirls. All went well and have the car booked in for June for paint correction and interior details. He will also do a minor engine detial free of charge. I'll update this post again with pics etc once the job is complete. Stu
  15. Sorry to hear you are having so many issues. I know you don't want to hear this but maybe take the car to toyota/Lexus or an independent for a look over? Given how much you have already spend it can't hurt to let them look the car over for a few hours? Stu
  16. I have to say just from the pictures it looks a lot nicer in blue. I also like the idea of the cream seats but with a child they would be destroyed :) I look forward to seeing yours and haven't a better poke around. Stu
  17. Exactly, people buy them just because they are an M3 or C63 just like people buy a 911 just because it is a 911 without considering alternatives. I didn't even know the ISF existed until 2 months before I bought mine and I LOVE my cars. Stu
  18. Absolutely stunning! What. Great looking car. Stu
  19. They are selling but slowly. Fewer of them so less churn and also less demand for the isf compared to the c63 and the m3. Stu
  20. I wouldn't go by what top gear say! There are very get reviews of the rc-f out there and would you ever drive it on track in a competitive situation? Stu
  21. Guess it depends how quickly you want to sell it chap. Stu
  22. Oh ok, makes more sense, I think it will be at least 10k more than that if not closer to 15k. Stu
