  1. Me to! He gets superb reviews on detailing world and recently detailed a mclaren as well as many other exotic cars. He has done 5 isf's!
  2. Indeed. Needs to be 997.2 to avoid bore scoring issue. Also there was a thread on piston heads (i now can't find it) had Porsche in the bottom 3 of 40 manufacturers who used an extended warrant policy over a period of time.
  3. For me the evora is more of an event and feels more special. Also, there is a tuning company in Ipswich (hanger 111) who offer the komotec kit options taking the evora to 390, 405 or 430hp.
  4. Nice. Have you looked at the lotus evora s 2012 onwards? I wanted a 911 until I researched the 2 cars.
  5. Dropped off my car with rob today for full paint correction detail, interior detail and engine bay detail. Collect the car next weekend. Rob said he will take pictures along the way and I can post info on here after the work had been carried out. Stu
  6. Agreed. Looks spot on. Wheels fill the arches perfectly and looks really good! Top work.
  7. That will be me. I have friends that live there :)
  8. Look up 'gleam machine' I am off to get mine done by him this week. Stu
  9. All my cars except one have been a varient of grey or black. Like you I am after a bright colour for the next car. Having said that. I'd the right car comes up I may buy it and wrap it a colou I fancy.
  10. Ha! That would be something. Toying with the idea of lotus evora s :) MY2012 onwards. Stu
  11. I'll be selling my wagon next year in favour of a sports car and wondered what time of year folk think is best to sell? I was thinking March as the Christmas lunch is over and the weather is starting to turn. Stu Please remember that to sell on the LOC you need to be a Gold Club Member.
  12. Good work matey! Hold out for what you want. May take time if you want a specific colour but you will be pleased you did.
  13. Shamelessly stolen from another forum but the thread makes good reading. I was in the isf a month or so ago cruising on the motorway when I notice a brand new Aston Martin (vanquish I think) go past on the outside lane only so slow down and pull up along side me. A guy was driving with his young lad and the lad was pointing at the Lexus :0) Made me chuckle given the car the young lad was in. Stu
  14. Oh ok, makes more sense :) Have to say mine gets noticed a good amount at PH meets with MUCH more expensive and exotic metal. Real petrol heads understand what it is and how rare it is.
  15. Do you mean actual reviews or people opinions? Actual reviews are all really favourable for the isf from what I have read.
  16. Dreamer! Mint condition isf 08 with circa 50k on the clock flsh etc. Can't see that at all. Happy to be proven wrong by some one who had seen one at that price point.StuHere's one http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lexus/is/lexus-isf/4199467 As I say, would be interesting to get feedback from someone who actually sees the car. Could be marked leather, dinks, lots of stone chips etc, poor advert that reveals little about how the car has been maintained or looked after. Stu

  18. Not too much imo. That's the sort of money I'd be after if I sold mine and mine is very similar in terms of age and mileage. Stu
  19. As above. Never heard of that happening. If you buy one with extended warranty it won't be an issue any way and you can continue to extend up to 10 years old. Stu
  20. The TT riders have a screw (or more) loose! Incredible talent.
  21. I am indeed watching it. Had no idea you were given that kind of access! Amazing :)
  22. I have the dry version. Maybe worth checking the USA forum? Stu
