  1. It's which ever comes first, assume generally it's due to miles and wear and tear but you are not far off 60k so I'd just do it now if the age is appropriate. Stu
  2. He did, as a free bee but only involved putting a produce on the plastics and earning them up. Looks better. Also treated the leather seats and got stains out the passenger side foot matt I couldn't get out. Stu
  3. As I only have an iPhone no more pics to come as they would be no better than the ones rob has taken and I have already posted. Stu
  4. I have yes. This is what greeted me. I only have a iPhone so no more pictures really. It is superb! I can't believe how good it looks. He even got out stains of the carpets I had not managed to get out during the interior clean. He spent 4 days on the outside and 1-2 days on the interior and minor touch up areas. I will be using him again when I get my next car. I asked how best to prolong the finish and he gave the following advice. 1. Use a sheet wool mitt not a noodle mitt. Apparently the wheels wool one stops contaminants being pushed over the car surface. 2. Use drying towels and not micro fibres to dry the car and dab, don't wipe dry. Against stops dust etc being wiped over the car. 3. Use the 2 bucket system. One bucket to rinse the mitt and one with soap. VERY happy indeed. Stu
  5. That's disappointing but not unexpected given the dissapoibting reviews. Can't help but think of it was lighter it would have done so much better.
  6. 911's are common as much in chelmsford. Also they don't feel special to me. Look at the MY lotus evora s with full suede interior is stunning and had that special exotic and rare feel to it.
  7. The lotus evora s has a lot to do! I am looking for a truly involving sports car with a luxury feel so will see what happens. I have a test drive in August. Stu
  8. It is estonishing. Will be a massive ball ache to let it go next year.
  9. Very far north of that. I'd be expecting 70k plus
  10. So, got some pictures today from rob and the car looks stunning! He should be a photographer! I'll stick up some engine bay pics on Sunday when I collect the car.
  11. Everyone is entitled to their opinion chap. I know what you mean by the size. It's a big car. I don't agree re the build quality comments though. While I found the inside lacking in identity with too many materials for my eye i found the quality very good. Stu
  12. Haha! Nice... I do get a lot of people come up slowly and drive past slowly while looking across. Petrol stations is ace. Especially with the H&S exhaust. Turns a lot of heads. My wife was following me the other day and said a guy heard me accelerate and she could see him looking for the car then he spent good deal of time behind me looking at it.
  13. Reliability will always be over them as a issue in the eye of the average buyer. Be good if this car doesn't suffer from any common issues. Also, I have not seen any prices yet so be interesting to see where the price point ends up.
  14. 4wd and rwd options. That's novel for the same spec car. Can't imagine it being cheap. No mention of price. Blistering performance though. Thought it was another Lexus form the rear view with the exhaust set up.
  15. Indeed, bore scoring was the beginning of the end or me. I then started to realise the spec I wanted was almost non existent and a LOT of folk who buy new 911's can just addled them with maybe one or 2 options. So there are a lot for sale bit when you consider options you want the numbers fall away very quickly. Stu
  16. Nope. If the car was outside all year I'd be tempted. As its garaged I don't think it warrants it. Stu
  17. Various waxes and sealants used. I think it's good and if the car turns out how I hope I'll be returning with my next car as well. Full details available via link below. http://gleammachine.net/#!/detailing-services Stu
  18. Not at all chap. Info is on his site for all to see anyway. It is £850. He has the car for a week to carry out the work. I'm looking forward the the pics he will send :)
  19. Good info. Hadn't appreciates they were staggered on earlier models as well. Stu
  20. I believe so. Or was it just slightly wider tyres in the same size wheels?
  21. The wheels on all models as uni directional. On later models the wheels are slightly wider at the back so each wheel has its own position on the car.
  22. Nope. Would be a good action to have though. Good shout. Other forums seem to split the scions to: Car model: - mechanical - interior / exterior - maintenance Etc
