  1. All the best fella. Stay around and update us with what you do next fella. Stu
  2. That is a lot cheaper. Clearly the longer the range and shorter the charge time the more realistic an option they will become for people. Can't help but feel people would be put out if I asked to use their power to charge my car.
  3. 500 miles would be superb! Still leaves the issue of time taken to charge though and having to find charge points. For example if I went to see my folks in the lakes where would I charge the car? How long would it take?
  4. Tesla is an interesting proposition. Silly fast, looks nice etc Issue for me is how practical is it? I know charge time is still a long time and range is t that great. So popping to anywhere over 100 miles away means researching and ensuring there is a charge point near by. I heard there had been a massive step forward in terms of battery development with aluminium batteries in development requiring half the charge time and double the use time compared to current batteries. When these hit cars they will be a real choice for far more people. As it stands they are too limiting for me. Re Infiniti its daft as poop you can't use Nissan. That has put me off as I was looking at one for my wife's next car. Madness as this will do nothing but massively limit sales.
  5. Will do if I get an opportunity. You will struggle to find anything aftermarket here chap. You will need to import and stomach shipping and import duty costs.
  6. Before the exhaust was fitted: http://s271.photobucket.com/user/stuno1/media/lexus%20isf/IMG_1506_zpsc8c53371.mp4.html After the exhaust was fitted: http://s271.photobucket.com/user/stuno1/media/lexus%20isf/IMG_1519_zps51db3ce7.mp4.html
  7. I'll find the clips as they are on photobucket re cabin sound. The exhaust is cat back only. So from the second cats backwards. The rest of the system is stock. The extra sound is due to a muffler in the rear section being removed and the back boxes being made smaller.
  8. Can you access my YouTube channel via my videos? I did a few videos exactly for the reasons you state. It was £850 fitted by Hayward and Scott in Basildon Essex. I was the first to have it fitted and now 10 ish people have it fitted. Anyway, my YouTube channel includes videos before and after the exhaust doing exactly the same journey. There is no drone at all when cruising and lovely/epic sound when under load. There is also a clip of the underside of the car with it fitted.
  9. Not quite chap. Similar system from the same company but the difference being mine (second one) has second cats still and Petes (first one) has mini silencers instead of second cats.
  10. Ok so Petes system is different to mine and everyone else's in that we all kept the second cats and Petes has small silencers instead of second cats where he initially had them removed. The systems make that cats sound epic!
  11. Hayward and Scott cat back system. Same as mine and a few others on here. What I am not sure about is if that clip of Petes is before he had the cats (or back boxes) re installed? He had the system without one of them at first but said he got a lot of drone.
  12. Could be wrong but was this the press car? If it is then that's what is probably putting folk off. If not maybe there are other issues. Can't hurt to have a look I guess. Stu
  13. Is there??? Link? Be interested tinder how loud it was before it got the rear cats (or may have been back boxes) put back on.
  14. 17k seems low but 18k ish may be achievable but with more like 70k miles. There is generally a bit of a premium for cars like these when in very good condition ticking all the boxes as they are performance cars not a Ford Focus. Also, as you say there are always very few around.
  15. Would look good on a black car. Very stealth. Did something similar on one of my previous black cars.
  16. As we know I don't agree. The condition of mine is second to none. As I stated on previously there will be wiggle room in my 22.5k asking price as you have to build in a buffer. I knock up a pretty good advert so will see what happens. I have nothing to lose :)Mine would also have had MOT and service in November and no need for tyres, discs, pads etc.
  17. I will be asking 22.5k for mine as described above and with 2 years extended warranty. Mine is mint though so depends on the condition in terms of paint chips, callipers pealing, wheels needing referb etc High milers and no fsh seem to go for 18k plus so 20k plus I think. They are shifting for 20k plus but ultimately it's what you are willing to pay.
  18. I like it. As I always say with any modded car. As long as there is a consistent theme it is hard to go too wrong. In your case black and white with the ISF blue works really well. Top job.
