  6. Meet date is 6th September It has been a while since the last meet in the south east so it feels about right for another to be organised. We have had good attendance across the Lexus range for the bluewater meets so that will be the location for this one as well. It gives people the flexibility to bring family for car fun or for shopping. As always the meet is open to all cars, not just Lexus cars. If you have friends who enjoy a meet feel free to bring them a long. The meet will start at 12:00 and run until people leave. It usually involves some food at some point as well. The car park location will be posted in this thread on the day. This is because it changes depending on the weather. Please vote for a date using the poll. I look forward to meeting some more folks and seeing some familiar faces. Cheers Stuart
  7. I agree. Very reasonable considering the prices of akropovic prices for vag cars.
  8. It was 850 when I had mine fitted. I think an extra 250 if you want a valves system. I should have asked for commission! There must be 10+ isf's with their system since mine was first through their doors :)
  9. Personally I done find the h&s system intrusive at all and my clips of pre and post when cruising show that there is very little sound difference. I should have used my db meter pre and post but didn't think about it at the time.
  10. If I am free I'd be up for it. Pretty busy these days so would need to be fairly advanced booking. Don't expect h&s cat back to add big gains. All it does is remove the rear muffler and reduce the size of the back boxes. Paired with a stock isf it would add more than a takeda. The takeda is known to sap up to 5hp but adds epic sound. If you want gains you need down pipes and headers that remove the primary cats as well as removing the muffler and making the back boxes smaller. The stock intake is proven to be pretty much the most efficient in terms of power just lacks sound. Mine ran something like 419 with H&S cat back and takeda.
  11. Welcome to the forum. What's your car history fella? Another Essex f.
  12. Welcome to the forum. I can't state for track use but I would be surprised if they were not sufficient. A few on here have tracked their cars and will be able to help. Also the stock wheels channel air on to the brakes using the blades and are light weight (ish) so I think people stick with them. Stu
  13. If you want it quieter maybe get them to fit a valve? The switch would be a blank on your console. You can then make the exhaust loud or quiet. Or, get a muffler added to each pipe? They may even have another option.
  14. One persons loud is another persons queit. Cold start is loud after that, for me it's spot on. Very similar to a c63. Gutted chap. You haven't had it long :(
  15. Apparently it hits 60 in just under 5 seconds! Wow.
  16. You will struggle to make is softer to the point you will feel it's money well spent in my opinion. Generally springs and coilovers are stiffer and ride height adjustable than stock. It's other components such and bushes and shocks that may help but again I wouldn't bother. If you are going to track the cat I would just leave it alone. I'd be interested to see how a 2010 rides in comparison in a back to back drive over the same piece of road. Stu
  17. Yeah happy to help a prospective owner where I can :)
  18. I know you want a 2010 but you are more than welcome to come out in mine and have a poke around to get a feel for the car and what they are like :)
  19. Let it run in for a few months. Carbon build up quietens it. When in started mine for the first time I thought I had made a mistake but I love it. Sounds epic! Stu
  20. Good question not sure. I would assume main dealer as they would question maintenance done by a Indy. Having said that I seem to recall a Piston heads thread about new cars being serviced at Indy garages and manufacturers a having to honour warranty packages. Worth a call to your dealer either way.
  21. Another Essex isf owner :) Happy days. Welcome aboard. Stu
  22. .... Are a lot of people looking for isf's at the moment? Seems to be a glut of people on here looking and goodness know how many not on here. Stu
