Running vredestien ultrac sssanta on mine and I love them. Very quiet (the db rating is better than most), great drry grip but there are better wet grip tyres available.

It's always good to get people's views. Those are some very specific improvement stats, do you have any pre and post dyno read outs from the same tuner?

A cat back system may make the loud peddle a tad more responsive ( I do mean a tad) but it won't improve power by more than 5hp at absolute best. You need to de restrict gas flow to gain power and this is don't by removing cats. The only way you really know is with a dyno read out pre and post from the same dyno centre. Ultimate as long as you are happy that's all that matters.

For anyone worried about a cat back exhaust invalidating the Lexus extended warranty policy.... It doesn't, I called the Lexus extended warranty company directly and it is viewed as an enhancement to an existing part as the cats are retained :) Stu

I have had as high as late 34 on a motorway run and as low as 16 on a spirited drive. Think my current average is around 24mpg. Impressive for big v8.

As others have mentioned the poor reviews certainly didn't help. It was very hotly anticipated by enthusiasts and the enthusiasts were let down. Still a fantastic car but due to the weight it can't be 'hussled' like rivals.

Now thats a proper response.... and glad to hear its just not me. I appreciate the rules and the non sale policy for non gold members but really didnt enjoy being censored or even monitored in repsect to discussing if my post was okay. As said yesterday this same thread was removed by Mike for no real reason except for him believing the post was inflammatory - so found that annoying to say least. Either way still trying to justify keeping the car as a sunday car , buy the wife a load lugger and me run about the dog can chew to bits. Problem with the car is I find it too damn good ! I missed the I flamatory one. Clearly didn't anger me enough. You must try harder! Lol All forums are moderated to one degree or another. The extent of the moderation is down to both the forum and the individual mods. Some allow more free view and simply lock threads, others remove as soon as disagreements starts. Pistonheads seems to have a very good balance. Being a mod is like being a referee. It's a time absorbing role trying to make sure people adhere to rules and they often get kicked for the privilege! Not easy. It is a great car. I truly don't believe you can replace it with any other performance Saloon. You need a totally different t car.

Had the same as didn't realise they view talking about the sale/value of cars can be viewed as touting and trying to encourage pm's without paying for the privilege to actually sell on the site. I use forums all the time and didn't appreciate the detail of that rule as I was asking for advice on value as were you. I can understand why both mine and your posts were removed. You got some good feedback beforehand though ;)

I run 38 all around on my isf. People run anything from 35-40 all around.

I don't think there will be much in it around a track with the 2010 isf and the rcf. Would be interesting to see a comparison. Interior wise though it's a different kettle of fish.

I'd start a new thread chap. Also, there is a blank switch on the right side of the wheel where my apexi unit is in the picture below. Get them to use that spot. I should have asked for commission for each system sold to an isf owner! Lol

We had a good chat and it depends. Not having flsh will definitely limit the appeal of the car as it does with any car but it's down to the individual to decide if it's a route they want to go down. It's all about perception and people percieve the dealer will do the best job, especially on performance cars.
