  1. True but now hopefully his pal who informed it's being discussed will update him and he can come on here and put us all right.
  2. Pretty sure it was up for 17.5k and had 35k miles on it. @Verbout the thing is we will! Especially now the advert has been removed. Many people will be put off buying the car by this thread and the seller only had themselves to blame.
  3. Happy for the owner (or whoever spotted this thread) to corrects us. It seems a great bargain but the owners attitude throws it in to question.
  4. Id recommend it. Have it on my lotus and while it isn't cheap to do it means the car looks spot on until it needs to be replaced maybe 3 years later. You need to be using either suntec or expel as they are the best films available at the moment. Both self healing, both very thin both uv resistant. I use a chap in Romford so can't personally recommend anyone bear you.
  5. Very odd indeed! With such a niche market of course people are asking for history. Done himself no favours and in fact raises questions/concerns. It is very cheap for the mileage. Maybe something is wrong with it.
  6. Seems VERY good value, especially at that mileage and also seems to tick all the right boxes. Good add, flsh etc Has to be worth a look. May only not have sold if only on eBay. I never look there for cars. If it was in autotrader would probably have sold by now.
  7. No worries a all chap! If the weather holds I'll organise another in October 😃
  8. Lovwly to meet some new folk and see some familiar ones. I'll look to organise another for October if the weather holds.

  10. I am upper level section 'm'. See you all later 😃
  11. Looks like nice weather for tomorrow so we will be on the top floor as per the google maps image. I'll be there from 10 ish but at my car for 11ish. I'll post up car park location once I arrive so feel free to check this thread before leavin/on arrival. See you tomorrow 😃
  12. If you want a better chance of interest if make it all Lexus models. I do that and get between 5-10 cars each time.
  13. Haha! I liked using Woodford as they serviced 8 or so.
  14. Gutted! Remember having my motorbike nicked and that horrible sinking feeling when I realised. Hope insurance sort you out quickly.
  15. Best thing to do is post a link and folk on here will invariably know the car. There are only 200 ish ok the country.
  16. I guess high levels of performance and grip have to come at a cost.
  17. Welcome to the forum. If you are local there is a Bluewater meet this Saturday from 11AM. You will never see 5+ isf's in one place anywhere else 😃. Folk will be happy to let you have a poke around and they will be on various states of modification including standard. Running costs are very good for such big cars. There is nothing really to look out for other than bubbling/corrosion on wheels, make sure all wheels are facing the correct way as they are uni directional. Each wheel fits only one corner. Minor service is 250 ish with bigger ones being 400 ish. 60k service is 700+ depending on how much shopping around you do. Brembo breaks can be had independent of Lexus so won't cost anywhere near Lexus quote. The cars can have Lexus approved warranty for up to 10 years so you can get that and it's only 700 ish per year which is half the price of BMW or Mercedes. Tax is too bracket. I managed 34MPG on a run and averaged about 25MPG. Stu
  18. You will need to post on each model section and in the meeting section to get numbers up. Sadly this forum doesn't have a lot of 'meet' folk.
  19. Attending: 1. Stu - Evora s 2. Pete - IS-F 3. Terry - ISF 4. Derrick - ISF 5. Mark - ISF 6. Neil - SC430 - sorry no F 7. Mike - isf
  20. Interesting. I'll see how I get on and move to the product you suggest if it's no good.
  21. Cheers all. @wendell that stuff looks great but too much effort for me! Went with this as I have been very impressed with their other products. http://gtechniq.com/products/auto/perfect/exterior/paint/t1-tyre-and-trim#content
  22. Which one do you use? Decided I need to start using some but don't want it to kick up all over the paint. Stu
  23. Did some digging recently on tyres and the continental sport contact 6 get amazing reviews ahead of all their rivals so lobbed a set on my lotus. Took the car around the ring over the weekend and they bloomin stick. The pirelli p zero tyres designed for the Evora would break loose in conditions the continentals simply will not. They get my vote.
