    This is why I would never buy any Lexus new. They are incredible cars but are taking a long time to establish themselves as a legitimate merc and BMW competitor. The new rx and nx seem popular so I think they are doing the correct things.

    There is a thread on here where the f won in almost all tests by one lot against the bimmer. This was on road and track.

    996 gt3... lovely weapon. Exactly power to weight is the key. I think the Evora is 40 stone ish lighter than the isf. That will tell in any condition. I am seriously thinking of pumping the Evora to 400-430hp. That would be epic!

    Different league chap. Much lighter, much more steering feel, much better suspension for car balance, faster, flatter in corners, lower etc. Not a fair compariosn really. Completely different animals.

    The back end slip is surprisingly manageable and you can feel it very well for such a big car. I can't drift at all but on some twisters felt it break loose and could always reign it back in with ease.

    They do seem to be very popular events. I have set a reminder to look for the ones I am interested in on the date they said the event goes live on their site. Fingers crossed.

    It was a consideration but it can't GT. also, being 6 2" it's a bugger to get in and out of. The Evora for me is the perfect mix of mod cons gt and sports car. The exige for me is more a local road a track car. So, driving to the triangle for example is 4hours away. I wouldn't want to do that in an exige.

    Not broadly speaking, I think it's the same engine. Safely tuneable to 430hp for 5k ish... imagine that in that exige!

    Lovely pictures! I am off to the evo triangle this year and can't wait. The exige was an option for my next car but it's too raw for the gt side of things for me. Bloody lovely machines though. 3.5 seconds or as close to for 60 and handles like it's on rails.

    Looked in to this and to get the same silver weave the part had to come from the states and was over 800 pounds! Pete had made up but the colour wasn't an exact match. I just left it in the end.

    Never been made to fit one and i owned mine at 30. Try elephant and admiral as they are always cheapest for me.

    If my wife had not passed her test and we were still a 1 car household the f would have gone no where! It really is a remarkable package. Just enjoying trolling you 😂

    1. Performance, Stealth looks and rarity. 2. Position of sport button, clock, silver carbon in the middle back seat instead of plastic slab, valved exhaust, better infotainment. 3. Bought lotus Evora s @Big Rat, considered 997 c2 s, xkr s, mazza gt and a few others.
