Point No 1, I do not think that is normal. I have lived with the IS hybrid for 2 years almost and mine often gets all the way out of car parks etc on battery which still makes some people jump as its so quiet. When it's very cold my engine cuts in after I have reversed off my drive. Point No 2, cannot say I have noticed any discharge during the night. You have to have a very light right foot to keep it on battery, have you tried ECo mode? You need a hybrid health check done by your dealer I think, although I think it's safe to say that you would be one of the first on this site to have a battery problem. I am sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon.

Have now done several reverse parkings using the camera and miracles do happen as each time the car was straight. As I have said in another thread parking straight was a problem for me and others, maybe the yellow lines connected to the steering were a distraction to me, have not tried many front in parking yet so time will tell. One thing I have noticed, the picture from the reversing camera is at a slightly different angle as I can now see a small bit of the number plate along the bottom, the distance is also better so maybe the camera field of view change is an update? Auto locking/unlocking is much quieter, not as clunky. Like the change in texture/colour on the center consul, looks like it will not look so dusty.

Phone contacts transfer sorted. Simple really, my contacts were all stored on my sim because I had recently changed phones, just imported them to the phone and sorted. The older I get the more difficult I find all these tech issues, I learnt a little about computers in the later years of working and find reading instructions which use all the technically correct terms very difficult. The use of mobile phones while driving is an offence, but using a mouse, screen, contacts list etc all while driving (not that I do it as I my wife does it) is as distracting, the time will come when only a simple hands free will be the only thing that will work when the car is in drive mode.

I will find out in the coming days if the reversing lines are a loss but all the other connections I did not use anyway. The quality of the audio is the same as far as my old ears can tell. When inputting addresses/post codes you can switch to a keyboard or use the rotary selector.

No guidance lines that move with the wheels, just lines that show the width of the car and a red line for distance. Also it has electric leather with heated, ventilated seats (no memory)

I have the rear view camera so the new Advance seems to be a bit of both systems. The pairing is ok it's the transfer of contacts. My phone has the BPAP or whatever it is, the automatic transfer is turned on and the car says transfer done but nothing on the list. Going back to lexus Monday morning. Have now got all my destinations in the sat nav memory. Samsung galaxy s mini.

What is the differance between ordinary and premium nav?

Picked up the car today. Have paired the phones but even though it says contacts transferred they are not on the car. Have failed to input any memory points yet as everything ids different. I think I will be heading back to lexus Bristol Monday for some lessons. New roatary mouse, anybody else have this sort. The mouse hump is gone, it's now a phone tray apparently.

Cool. How long did you have to wait after ordering? I'm being quoted 12 weeks for my order :-( Ordered on 22/4/15, they just happened to have the spec that I wanted on the ship.

My new IS300h Advance model arrived at the dealers today. Will be taking delivery next week. This is the first of this model to arrive and replaces the Luxury I think. Same spec as my Luxury which has leather and sat nav. Going for a look around it tomorrow but it is covered in cling film type covering. Having a grey interior this time. The PCP deal was attractive but I have the cash and I want the car to be mine when I drive it away. I am lucky as I have never needed finance.

Omg. I take responsibility for starting all this off. I now need a dictionary and a Psychiatrist to understand all the replys, oh and maybe a mathematician to understand the angles theory. At least my wife now accepts it's maybe the car and not me why I am always at a slight angle.

After highjacking the Parrallel Parking topic I have been encouraged by the various replies and I have made my wife read them all. It is a curious phenomenon. I digress a little but still parking. Driving straight into a parking space marked with white lines on each side has any IS300h owner noticed the car is never straight. It might be me or the shape of the bonnet but I am always on a slight angle front to the right, yes it's probably me.

I ordered mine this week. It's about 4 weeks away on a boat somewhere. P/ex my 2013 Luxury with electric leather and sat nav, the Advance is same spec but about 3k cheaper than I paid in 2013 but then that's the premium for wanting the new technology when it was first available.Anybody else on the forum on their second IS300h?

Thanks for that. I have just ordered my second IS300h for next month. Will try and get a pair.

I have tried an Internet search but cannot find anything. My wife often comments that the cup holders in the center armrest in our IS300h are uncomfortable for her right arm/elbow. Has anybody seen any inserts that flatten out the top surface. I do not use the holders so will not miss them.

Buying by cash. Decision made. I hate finance no matter how good the figures look. Have been given a great offer by my dealer for the cash option. Very happy.
