    `Yeah, an RC-F is definitely on my shopping list, just have to finish my house extension first. Then I'll see if there is any money left for a car update this year. Though looking at the RC-F prices at the weekend it looks like they are getting into the territory I might be able to afford. Just need to apply some man maths to the wife...

    Given that major reasons why people choose the F brand is the combination of performance and reliability, I must admit that I think the measured performance gains provided by Pete's conversion totally in keeping with the car. As a well engineered supercharger implementation puts less overall stress on the engine, I think it's likely to be trouble free for significantly longer that a turbo setup.

    An LFA? i will be there... I didn't even realise there were anniversary models of the RCF and GSF. Anyone know what the differences are???

    Indeed Paul, hope you have a good time, taking your new toy out for a birthday blast... Unfortunately all my spare cash is going towards keeping the building trade in cups of tea at the moment, so I'm having to postpone any car renewal for a while... It's a bit annoying that the decent RC-Fs seem to getting snapped up, rather than languishing at dealers and slowly coming down in price :)

    leaky shock adsorber, never actually saw the price as the dealer just did it, however I'm sure it was >400

    The service guys have to disconnect the battery which will reset the computer, nothing nefarious there. There were a few miles on mine also after the recall, explanation I got was that as a large amount of dash is dismantled, prudence indicated a road test which I think is fair enough.

    4.5 years, 80k miles, one shock absorber done under warranty, cost to me 00.00.

    Totally appropriate, Cadoxton Grey is well known as a suitably stealth colour, unnoticed by all as it quietly disappears into the distance.... Unlike shouty silver.

    just watched that vides, very impressive. They were both relaxed and enjoying themselves whilst doing the lap, obviously not too many worries about the cars' handling. Maybe if I drove round there a couple of hundred times I might get close to a lap like that... (considers moving to germany)

    I am severely jealous. Orangery/happy wife vs GSF/RCF decision, there is only one way that was going to go. I guess I will have to see what 2018 brings..

    had mine done at Guildford, courtesy car and they cleaned it, but no free fuel.... Obviously I am in deep shock at this lack, though I did avail my self of their coffee....
