    You are more than welcome my friend. have been taking a break from the Postings of Phil and Linas et al who have been waxing lyrical lyrical about matters that I addressed 40 plus years ago and have been settled in my mind for many years. Still, we are all entitled to our views aren`t we ?     A really interesting perspective Ray. What you were buying was basically insurance cover in case significant problems arose....and they didn`t. Some win and some lose. You won and that is credit to you for buying a car you could trust in the first place and credit also to your trusted mechanic. Continue to enjoy the wonderful CT.

    Just a thought Chris, There is a new Lexus Warranty document which caters for vehicles between 10 and 15 years old. It my (or may not) be of assistance to you. Ask Lexus for the details as soon as you can.
