  1. Apologies accepted Nick. There should not be a good reason why the Seller should not authorise the local to you Lexus Dealer to investigate and correct and then bill the Seller .
  2. UK Law obliges the Seller in many ways. "I thought" is not a helpful avenue for any resolution. I will follow with interest but any further advice will not be forthcoming.
  3. Nick, I did NOT advise you to write directly to Lexus UK!
  4. Give Paul Frost a phone call at Lexus Spares Direct and ask him. Mobile phone 07590 072646 Cotton Hall Street Darwen BB3 0DW England
  5. Seems fine to me.It was due a 60,000 mile service. It had 2 in `20.
  6. Try to ensure that the Solar Panel faces South during the day Norman so as to maximise its exposure to daylight..
  7. What would it cost to borrow £71k for n years in 2017? Or did he have it in his back pocket ?
  8. Paul, Have you looked at all of the Service Stamps in your Service Booklet? This should reflect the fact that a Service is due every 10,000 miles (or so ) or Annually, WHICHEVER COMES SOONER. Consider taking out a Service Plan which you pay monthly by Direct Debit and which helps your cashflow when Servicing is due. My GS has only covered 62,000 miles but has had its 100,000 service due to age.
  9. Congratulations.Very pleased for you. Thanks for keeping us up to date. Now you can enjoy your RX to the full.
  10. That`s a great story Vince and grateful thanks for the photos. It looks to be in good condition and I expect it to prove to be reliable for you. Please contribute when you can on the Forum.
  11. Take it from me Ed, his bikes are worth a small fortune. He has considerable means.
  12. Nick, Have you thought about writing to the THE DEALER PRINCIPAL at Lexus Teeside and explaining your concerns at having purchased the vehicle from his Official Lexus Dealership and finding such a Premium vehicle in such an unsatisfactory condition ? You are not asking for the identified matter to be warranted, but you are asking for his help in addressing what is to you and it should be to his Dealership, an important matter. It was not readily identifiable prior to purchase, but does require some expert attention to arrest any further decay. And you need his help to progress matters. Tell him that you hope that the problem can be addressed locally without the need to pursue matters via a formal notification to Lexus.UK Do not be fobbed off by any referral to a Salesperson and insist that you deal with the Principal personally.I understand that the Dealership may have changed hands recently, but I don`t know when or when you bought the vehicle. Do let us all know how you get on.
