    All Seasons are fine with temps down to around -7 c. If one drives sensibly having regard to the prevailing conditions one has no need to be a trained Rocket Scientist, or a Clarkson Student (or a Company Car Diver ?) to know what steps to take.

    After Market Warranties are often not worth the paper they are written on. There is one however which is issued by the Gov`t in the form of a Statutory Warranty and as such is backed by Law. For more, consult a Solicitor, Or the Trading Standards Body, or the Internet and be perpared to pursue the crook via the Small Claims Track of the County Court. Not expensive ,but worthwhile.

    If a Trader, then he need not offer any warranty Herbie old pal ,BUT he (the Trader) is legally bound to be responsible for fixing at his cost any significant problem which arises within 6 months from the date of purchase. Tell him to seek advice from Solicitor, or Trading Standards, or Internet.👍👍🤣🤣

    Thanks Malcolm. It seems to me and possiblyy others too,that Lexus is in danger of slowly losing the plot ! Why on Earth, try to improve/ change something that worked first time, every time ?

    So, they probably had advance notification given that it was LIKELY marketed first in the U.S. That`s a big black mark against Lexus and will probably be reflected in Consumer Surveys.

    oh dear, that`s tough. 5days late is a really poor show by Lexus and it reveals inflexibility, so we all need to take care in future.

    You should also receive an initial 12month warranty and Lexus ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE from Marshall before you join the Relax Warranty. Do let us all know how you get on.

    I`ve just been told by Lexus Liverpool that this problem only occurs with the latest version of the NX Malcolm. My 19 Reg is supposedly unaffected.
