  7. The date your tyres were made will be on the sidewall in the form of four numbers usually preceded by the letters DOT. These numbers represent the week number and year, so 3410 will be week 34, 2010. Use that information to make sure you're buying tyres with the longest shelf life possible. Regards John

Lexus appears to be making the same mistake made by Audi, BMW and Mercedes by catering for the Corporate customer at the expense of the Private Customer, as that is where the big profits are made. Such action will in my view lead to the rapid establishment throughout the UK OF INDEPENDENT LEXUS SPECIALISTS. I know that discounted services can be offered by Main Dealers to older Lexus models, but the quality of servicing and personal levels of service will deteriorate. Regards John
