  1. Point taken, but, I was 300 miles from home, 100 miles from Lexus Edinburgh, without batteries and without the small screwdriver needed to release the old battery. ... and I was formerly in the Boy Scouts, (nearly 60 years ago) but nevertheless unprepared !!
  2. Very interesting.I had the same warning on Saturday 18th and as I was just North of St Andrews I phoned Lexus Edinburgh who told me that I had about 10 days to replace the battery. I returned home on the Monday and on the Tuesday I went into Lexus Chester who changed both batteries in my 2 keys, free of charge. It was the first time in 4 years that I had seen such a warning.
  3. Check to see if you have legal cover on your policy and confirm that it will cover your cosst of going to Court. If it does then when in Court, remember that he has to lie, thus committing perjury whilst all you have to do is tell the truth.
  4. Perfectibly possible given the ambient temperature and average speed hovering around 56mph and traffic conditions as you said. Regards John
  5. I think it is libelous Den if that opinion defames a person or blackens their name. I do not think that your example was a good one myself. The best defence against Libel is Justification. Regards John
  6. Taking the bulb(s) out will mean no current being consumed and see LED trunk light - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion

  10. 4 Lexus breaking down in one weekend is as statistically likely as Accrington Stanley winning the FA Cup! Tell them to pull the other one Tim.
  11. I have had one for the last 5 years for use when driving through France to Spain. They are now available for use in Spain and Portugal too.Brilliant. Happy motoring. More details at https://www.saneftolling.co.uk/ Regards John
  12. I don`t blame you Norman, once bitten............ I go to Lexus Chester most Saturday mornings, as it is free and pretty good.. Regards John
  13. You`ve not been near that Morrisons` car wash again, have you Norman ? :):):) Regards John
  14. I`ve had Khumo All Seasons (17in) fitted to my GS Phil, for over a year and find them to be excellent. An underated and often ignored tyre in my opinion. Regards John
  15. So glad I`m retired. The traffic through the Mersey Tunnels was just bearable, but your journey seems horrendous.
  16. Phil, I actually noticed this through watching an "Interceptors" TV programme recently. Much better to be safe than sorry. The most important aspect though is that Connor enjoys his marvellous new car. Regards John
  17. There does not seem to be a name at the bottom of the plate ,as there is on the front. As it currently stands it looks like a made up plate and the driver will run the risk of being stopped by the Police.
  18. Looks outstanding Connor. Do look closely at the rear number plate however as it does not seem UK legal to me. Compare it to the front one.
  19. A superb example Phil.At approaching 17, she soon be wanting to go out on her own at night ! Regards John
  20. BERNARD, there are millions of birds in the air each day and not one has been reported as having collided with anything ...other than a glass pane ! :):):)
