  1. I put the bag in first and then remove the wheels off the trolley! My plan A if there are two of use travelling together, is to use my 15 year old 219,000 , mile E class estate!! Happy golfing Steve.
  2. If your bag is that big Steve, then you need a professional caddie! Mine is a Ping bag and it will fit into my GS along with the Powerkaddy Trolley which has removable wheels.
  3. Great news Steve. The clock even though it may be a Hopalong Cassidy Timex" will work and work, and work. The Golf Clubs and Trolley can be left in your Locker room storage!! Do NOT listen to the finale of the 1812 overture! Really looking forward to seeing the pics.
  4. I`ve had Khumo Solus 17`s for 18 months now as we travel up to St Andrews a fair bit. Tyres are great and quiet, but not had to travel in really adverse conditions yet.
  5. I could not agree more. Ours is an auto,18 years old now. Never let us down at all.
  6. Ask them nicely, but firmly to give it a new MOT.
  7. I connect my GS to a solar powered charger for 6 weeks or more (including Winter moths) Richard and have not had any starting problems in 4 years. The Car and the charger are always left facing South to ensure the maximum capture of available light
  8. Don`t. Make him save enough to buy his own in due course. One of life`s necessary lessons.
  9. A Sam Bartram Goalkeepers Cap on the rear parcel shelf would make it look unique ! :):):)
  10. G'faw, you just 'used' Richard...for what?! I was just about to ask the same question!
  11. In your new top of the range Dacia, Al, with all bells and whistles ? :):):)
  12. When mine says "connection failed", it is always because I have not switched my phone on !
  13. A new tyre is one that has not been used Harry. In my opinion however a tyre that was manufactured 5 years ago cannot be treated by a purchaser as new and in all likelihood does not conform to current manfacturing specification of a new tyre . If you want a new tyre you should specify that it must have been manufactured within the last 12 mnoths and conforms with the current spcification for that tyre. Similarly a "new car" can have been manufactured over 12 months ago,but has sat in a Compound somewhere, but is still sold "as new".So the thing to do is to specify that your new car must have been manufactured within the last 12 months and its spec is identical to the current spec of that model. Just my view.
  14. Strange that this should happen within the first few days of your ownership Phil. Exactly the same thing happened to me in 2013 when I bought the GS 450 h from Lexus Chester. The Engine Management Light came on within 2 days and the problem was diagnosed as a failed Oxygen sensor. It was fixed immediately by Lexus Chster under Warranty. My assumption, perhaps incorrectly, was that the vehicle had remained parked and unused for a period prior to my purchase and this had somehow caused the failure..
  15. Mercedes had this transmission problem too for a while Den, starting I think, with the W211 Mode.l
