I`ve had my car for 5 years plus and my consumption has increased to 27mpg (from 33mpg). I put this down to the colder weather and the more local commutes.
The car sounds and performs as it has always done. A gem.
The Plan covers everything required by the manufacturers service schedule and MOT`s. I (the customer ) pays for everything else. To date (5 years) I have not had to pay anything over my £34 per month.
It is my understanding that the O ring was not designed to be launched at low temperatures. It was NASA Management that ignored the manufacturers advice and launched the Shuttle, that caused the disaster.
If you have had the car for less than 6 months, then any Warranty is irrelevant as it is the Dealers Statutory Responsibility to repair/replace at his cost.
A good outcome then Vlad. Shows the benefit of shopping around.
If you are anything like me though, when next year comes you will forget to shop around!
Happy Christmas!
I have a steep driveway and this isn't a problem when I set off in the morning because the engine revs higher until it reaches working temperature. However, if you drive about a bit and park the car on a slope, when you pull that lever to drive off the car rolls. The park brake is either on or off and you have to do some fancy footwork with the brake and accelerator to avoid a ding. Have no idea why Toyota went with this. The footbrake in other models worked fine.
Sounds like the system I have in the Merc.
Can`t you use the left foot on the brake?
