    Give him a document in English (or email him) which states "When parking car you must ensure that Hand brake is applied and Vehicle is left in Gear or Park position and Wheels are pointing to the Kerbside" Address it (to him) Sign it, date it and give him a copy and keep a copy for your records upon which you have written that he was handed a copy on a particular date. If he complains about your action ,simply tell him "that`s what we do in UK to protect our assets" Good luck.

    I`ll wager that you will not find another car that will satisfy her as regards front end view, in which she will feel safe, and which will be as reliable.

    i`ve not been shopping for at least 25 years. The shops (Sainsbury`s, Amazon and E Bay) come to me, come rain,wind,hail,snow or storm. I do not use petrol, worry about traffic accidents, look for suitable parking places, or worry about who has dinged my car. Problem solved.

    HelloSmuk and welcome. Have no doubt that you will enjoy the car.Very few,if any, marques can equal Lexus.You have made an excellent decision. My view is that none of the extras being pushed by the Salesman can be considered to be worthwhile investments, but I would recommend that you purchase and have Lexus install the dashcam for you.A dashcam is increasingly important given the poor behaviour displayed on the roads today. Let`s have some piccies and a review when you are ready.

    Agree about the wind deflectors, ugly on any car! Ugly, perhaps, but do they work by deflecting wind and rain ?

    I had a pal who received a phone call from Land Rover inviting him to a LR experience. They collected him at 7.30 sharp the next morning, dropped him in the nearest lay-by and collected him 8 hours later!!
