  1. Isn`t the driver still responsible for observing road signs.....not the instruments ? Technological developments in motor vehicles appears to be an inadequate and unfortunate substitution for personal responsibility. Just my view !
  2. So, why not inform Lexus UK of each breach of the so called Nation-wide Agreement Les and name the offending Dealer to them?
  3. Thanks Piers. I will be a long time in going to sleep tonight !
  4. In my experience Pete, it is more important to assess just how one drives that is the key factor in giving miles per tyre. Buy a middle of the range tyre around £85, drive responsibly and expect 30,000 plus. Good luck.
  5. When I was a young lad , I had a hero who was worldy wise like you seem to be Herbs. His name was Wilson (of the Wizard comic fame ) and he lived on his own in a caravan on the North Yorkshire moors And every x years or so, he would reincarnate to become someone else, who was even more wise.

  8. It is not funny at all. You SUV drivers are an inconsiderate lot bu blocking out our view of oncoming traffic. You should read your Highway Code again Alan.

  12. Many thanks Nigel, I enjoyed reading that. I drive to and from Andalucia twice each year in my 240,000 mile plus Merc Estate, so in reading that, I was sat comfortably in the next seat to you ?
  13. Identical to mine Jim. Enjoy and beware the fuzz !
  14. It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a driver to fall out of love with one`s Lexus Mark ! Welcome home.
  15. Welcome Sharon. What car did you replace with the Lexus?
  16. Thanks Jeff, I was going to recommend someone from Wirral. Good luck in your search. You could try google for local fitters in your area.
