  1. I read a report recently which pointed out that a recent survey carried out in the UK showed that on average we use our cars for only 4% of the time. If this is true (and I have no reason to doubt it) if we ran an airline on 96% non flying time, then we would be out of business in no time at all.
  2. Try telling them that then Paul. They do not know the meaning of "wear and tear"
  3. Sure does.Just don`t forget to take it out and abide by its conditions Daniel.
  4. Some of us knew what you meant Fred, but the astrophysicists amongst us didn`t !! Do enjoy what is an amazing car which does not have to be driven to excess to be enjoyed.
  5. Hi Paul, Does the Lexus Dealer have a record of the fact that your vehicle is covered by the Extended Warranty ? If no,then tell him. If yes, then ask him to explain why the front and rear suspension links are not covered by the Warranty. We will all be waiting with baited breath for the answer. Good luck.
  6. Glad you are back on track Arthur. Good luck.
  7. I would NOT put a claim in just yet Arthur. You can tell Admiral if you wish "for advisory purposes only" and that you expect matters to be resolved to your satisfaction without having to involve Admiral.
  8. I agree with Les, but do keep a copy of any correspondence you have with the Garage. Make sure that you retain it having signed and dated it in ink or biro.
  9. Take the Warranty in 12 months time.It covers everything Electrical or Mechanical on the vehicle, but (I think) excludes the Audio equipment. Ask the Dealer.
  10. And so you should be young man.It is a steal! Are they both on the same Policy Roger ?
  11. You left your car in the possession of the garage and they are responsible for any damage to it whilst in its possession. If they leave it on the road or in the street or on a vacant plot of land it does not absolve it from its responsibilities to you. What documentation ( if any ) did you sign when leaving the vehicle with the garage Arthur ?
  12. Thanks Ron. The only unreasonable response seems to be their policy of not insuring modified cars, even though the modification was not in the sense of a modification designed to make it go faster, or be noisier. For future reference I understand that the following companies are often not available via compare websites, but they can be telephoned or emailed for quotations. SAGA NFU LV
