  3. I`m not so sure that he is even that Shaun. Indy is a term usually given to a knowledgeable, experienced and trusted mechanic who repairs,maintains and services specific vehicles. Southwest does not claim to have any service facilities and their 3 month warranties are insurance based and quite possibly not worth the paper they are written on. They are silent as regards their Statutory responsibilities and are hiding behind their 3 month warranties I would even suggest that should Lexus UK become aware of Southwest trading under the Lexus banner, they would take a very dim view indeed. The Testimonials on their website are raising my eyebrows and I cannot find any reference to other reviews on the internet. No doubt other members based in Gloucestershire may have some views.

  9. A wee bit possibly, Ian, but, But I very much doubt it. Certainly MB would not honour a Smart warranty? Let`s wait for the feedback of Oliver.
  10. I agree with Ian re checking with Lexus. Lexus is Lexus and Toyota is Toyota.One would not expect Ford to honour a Vauxhall warranty.

  12. I THINK THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD A LOAD OF COBBLERS. Lacquer peeling is a well known TOYOTA/LEXUS PROBLEM. INSIST THAT IT IS TREATED UNDER THE 3 YEARS MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY AND TELL US THE NAME OF THE LEXUS DEALERSHIP THAT TOLD YOU TO GO AWAY !
