  1. It can be an extremely difficult colour on other (non Lexus) cars when their drivers do not use dipped headlamps in poor driving conditions, I find.
  2. Write/email, Toyota UK Head Office as if cannot be fixed it will probably lead to a recall by V.O.S.A. of all Toyota vehicles as flashing lights will constitute a danger.
  3. Stellar took over the Moses Gate stock of cars, I cannot be sure of anything going forward, but looking back, it seems pretty obvious. We had a member on this Forum, I might be wrong, but I think it was a John from the Gloucester area, who bought an LS from them. If he reads this thread he might chip in with appropriate comments. As I said Jules, it is buyer beware.
  4. Read these reviews. They relate to Mosesgate which changed its name to Stellar Motor Company. Buyer beware! https://www.cardealerreviews.co.uk/dealership/moses-gate-car-sales-bolton-lancashire-england
  5. I doubt if anyone knows as much as you do John .Your contributions are invaluable.Thanks.
  6. Good on you old buddy. Most of have known for some time that E=MC2, it has just taken you a little longer to find out! Seriously, good news indeed.
  7. IN HJ TODAY Hyped breed? I really don’t see the point of self-charging hybrids, unless you want to creep up on old people. It’s going to take the same amount of energy to move a vehicle from A to B whether it’s electric, petrol or diesel. If a self-charging hybrid only charges the battery from the engine, where’s the gain? It seems to me all you are doing is moving the pollution from one place to another. Or have I missed something? WJ, via email If you "don't see the point", read this road test: https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/toyota/toyota-camry-hybrid-2019-road-test/ Then tell me which other car the size of the Toyota Camry hybrid does 54.7mpg on petrol (which can be 10p a litre cheaper than diesel).
  8. Mark, If you need more to write more than 5 words to explain what you mean, then please do so. What you actually wrote, does amount to what I said. The term "driving without due care and attention" is an umbrella term to cover a host of misdemeanours.
  9. "Just get in and go" is arguably, "driving without due care and attention" is it not Mark?
  10. Any published set of Reliability Statistics for the last 15 years would have convinced her, me thinks.
  11. Just ask Google. https://www.motoringresearch.com/car-news/petrol-and-diesel-renamed/
  12. In 1972 I had a brand new VW Type 3 Fastback in Texas Yellow. I parked in on Double Yellow lines whilst I ran into a branch of Lloyds Bank to deposit a cheque. I ran straight out of the Bank and back to my car to find a Traffic Warden standing next to it. I apologised for my transgression and she remarked that she had never seen such a wonderful car in such a beautiful colour !! I thanked her and drove off immediately. Those days are long gone.
  13. I am so pleased to learn that the car did not break down. An expensive lesson, but it can happen to us all.
  14. I think that the Annual Hybrid Battery is independent of the Lexus Extended Warranty.
  15. The car was new to them. There is more to this than meets the eye. We shall wait and see.
  16. Shafiq, My MERCEDES IS ALSO SILKY SMOOTH AT 17 YEARS OLD AND 245,000 MILES,but is not part of the Lexus family It takes all sorts of vehicles to please all sorts of people...
  17. Shafiq, I would be pleased to receive your thanks for the information I provided to you re the availability of the information about Lexus 15 year warranty.
