    I got 150.000 out of the water pump on the old Merc Mark. Dammed annoying it was as it went on the Autoroute not far short of San Sebastian. Still I had 24 hours in a pleasant French village with a lovely restaurant and wine.

    Just because something is charged for Mark does not necessarily mean it has been done. I take your point though. A 10 year full service must include a new air filter. All Garages whether Indie or Stealership must have their work checked by the owner, wherever possible.

    My GS is a 450h Stevie and I think that your 28.6 urban is where it should be. My urban figure (manually calculated, brim to brim) hovers 28-30. One caution, if that is the on-board computer figure then it needs to be reduced to about 26.5, otherwise it is fine.

    Thanks Lee. I did not do any checking I merely accepted the comments from what I took to be a wise old man. I shall have to stop doing that? I would have checked the t&c before booking my next road trip to Spain. i`ll stick another pin in Stu`s effigy !

    Hi Phil and thanks for the difficult question------I would have preferred "who scored the goal? " My view is that ; *at current prices petrol is very cheap (not quite 2/6 per gallon, but heading that way ), more demand therefore for petrol than LPG *LPG vehicles cannot use Channel Tunnel * current LPG drivers likely to express more interest than new LPG drivers. I wish him well with the sale as he deserves a good price for his considerable efforts. I hope it goes to a Member rather than a car shark !!
